im the only person running for president of the students council and i have to present all the rules and privilages to the dean so i just need a list of what to do and what not to

To prove to the Dean that you will be a good student council for your school's student body, remember that you are wanting to represent your peers. Your job is to speak for them when they address issues or problems or concerns that you are capable of fixing or changing. You can start by asking students for their opinions on what needs changing and how to improve the campus and student life. Then figure out ways to make it better and present it to your Dean with confidence by telling him what students' concerns are and how you plan to improve it.

Just kill your competition. No seriously. Take a page from the pros. Start rumors about how he is closet cross dresser and sleeps with all the male coaches. That he steals money from the church coffers to buy his crack. Things like that. Should discredit him enough for the go ahead win. Hell it works for the presidential candidates why not do it at the high school level?

If you are running for a political office, whether at a school or not.... remember one principle...
never be biased by your own opinion... always think about what is best for the people that will elect you....
so put that into your mind and then approach the Dean....
