Quite possibly. With the size of my shower curtain I always manage to put it in with a little imagination. Try putting it in at a different angle.

It's taken a lot of practice - but now I can do it with relative ease.

It's a much easier task if the wife doesn't try to get 'hands on' as she often moves the hoops, or positions them at a strange angle.

Get two sets of hands on it and guide it in slowly, but firmly. If it doesn't go in keep sliding it in and out to gently by pushing it past each little hoop.

It could take a while so laugh and lightly tease each other to ease the frustration.
