I don't want to sound rude or patronize you, but if you have really thought about taking a kat, then taking one from an animal shelter is the best thing you can do.

My Motto: "Don't breed or buy, whilst homeless die."

If you want to do something good for Christmas, then give a poor homeless kitten a home for life. It doesn't matter what breed it is, pets are friends and companions and shouldn't be a status symbol. I am not saying that it why you want a British Blue, I guess you just think they are beautiful, but many people want a luxurious cat.
Another factor is, that purebred cats are more prone to illnesses due to overbreeding. And anyway, maybe there is even a British Blue in a pet home

Good Luck!

Kittenlist have a few British Blue advertised:
http://www.kittenlist.co.uk/index.php?page=adsearch&at=2&ct=2&bt=329&ar=

And there are more advertised on the Preloved site:
http://www.preloved.co.uk/fuseaction-adverts.listadverts/86aa5dc1.html

And there are links to British Blue Rescue, British Blue Breed Clubs & Breeders on this site:
http://www.catteries.org.uk/BritishBlue.html

And as everyone has said ... remember that the kitten is for life & not for just for Christmas... you'll probably also get the third degree from the breeders... tee hee.... but at least if you do, then you'll know that they are responsible people who care about the future welfare of their kittens.

Hope that the list of sites helps & that you find just what you are looking for.

Do not buy a kitten for crimbo its not fair in kitty its to busy a time to settle a kitty into a new home they need quiet and attention but get kitty after the year when all is settled down and kitty will thank you for it
