1. Talk to the person about the problem. Do they see what they area doing? Do they understand the consequences to others of their behavior?
2. What is their response to this discussion? Do they acknowledge the problem and want to help solve it? OR is it a 'too bad, that's the way it is' answer?
3. If they want to try and solve it, then you will need to come to a compromise about time, labor, money etc.
If they have a too bad so sad attitude, then the way to deal with it is to leave.

How is caring about parents hurting others in the family? What is the cost? In this day and age you should be grateful and understanding of the partners need to take of parents.

Whats the cost you are paying? If its not anything dramatic then you should be happy to be with someone who cares for the parents.
If you are jealous then you should just try and work on yourself because its silly, if its something more bothersome then talk to your partner.

you and your life partner should obviously have very good communication abilities.......if there is no communication gap between the two of you then you must discus the matter openly with them........however if u both have a newly formed relations plz remember that it will always take time to get fully attached to you and to place you before everyone else.......caring for one's parents shows ability to respect and care and they will definitely do the same for your folks.........so time is the best healer......have patience or work it out with ur spouse........ all the best to u!!!!!!
