No at all. This sabbath testified of the true sabbath that was going to come in the dispensation of Jesus Christ. When Christ the orthodox Jews had problems with him as he seemed to desecrate "their" sabbath not knowing that he was the one who was the Lord of the Sabbath.
The true sabbath is rest from sin, rest from the things of this world when the Holy Ghost comes and lives the life for the believer.
The Holy Ghost through Paul says let no man judge you with regards to meats or any holy day. This sabbath issue is just the same as the unclean meats issue as commanded in the Old Testament. The New Testament however comes to tie all the loose ends and gives a conclusion to all the matters. Even Peter was cautioned by God not to call unclean waht God had cleansed when he refused to kill and eat animals he said were unclean according to their law.
How the can God put to death when he came to himself to show us and take us into the real sabbath

Remember the Sabbath Day......etc. Yes, I have broken this law as well as every other law that God made. To hate is to murder, according to God, so I'm guilty of that one, too. However, Jesus Christ paid the penalty for sin on the Cross. Thank God, or I'd be spiritually dead.
But read Romans 14 and read the book of Galatians. Since Christ, we are no longer living under the law, but under grace. Also, read any of the four Gospels and you will see that the Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath.
I'm happy that God made provisions for mankind to "have a day off."
Also, every Christian here knows you are trolling, looking for a debate. Just so you'll know, a righteous God does not need a defense just because of people who don't believe what He says. And how foolish is it to believe in your own ideas when you could believe in a perfect God? Peace.

Here is a quote from a website, www.immaculateheart.com/maryonline, December 2003. “Most Christians assume that Sunday is the biblical approved day of worship. The Roman Catholic Church protests that it transferred Christian worship from the biblical Sabbath (Saturday) to Sunday, and that to try to argue that the change was made in the bible is both dishonest and a denial of Catholic authority. If Protestantism wants to base its teachings only on the Bible, it should worship on Saturday”

Remember the Sabaath and keep it holy. Well it depends what rules you are applying? Those of the saducees and the pharisees or those of God? What about the new testament in Romans that talk about one man considering a day important and another considering them all the same? Do you mean Saturday or Sunday?

Daniyl 7:25—
And he will speak great words against Yahweh, and will
wear out; mentally attack to cause to fall away, the saints
of Yahweh, and think to change times; Yahweh’s Feast
Days, and Laws; and they will be given into his hand until a
time, and times, and the dividing of time.
This Scripture shows that the last religious power would
think to change the feast days and Laws of Yahweh.
This last religious power has been proven to be the
Roman Catholic Church and her Protestant offspring.
As proof that the Roman Catholic Church changed
Sabbath worship to Sunday worship, excerpts are quoted
from Bible Readings for the Home by Review and Herald
Publishing Association, Washington, DC, 1963, pages
415-418.
PAPAL POWER ACKNOWLEDGES THIS ACT
What power has claimed authority to change God’s
law?
The Papacy.
NOTE__"The Pope is of so great authority and power that he can
modify, explain, or interpret even divine laws...The Pope can modify
divine law, since his power is not of man, but of God; and he acts
as vicegerent of God upon earth." Translated from Lucius Ferraris,
Prompta Bibliotheca (Ready Library), “Papa,’’ art. 2.
What part of the law of God has the Papacy thought to
change?
The fourth commandment.
NOTE: They [the Catholics] allege the change of the Sabbath into
the Lord’s day, contrary, as it seemeth to the Decalogue; and they
have no example more in their mouths than the change of the
Sabbath. They will needs have the Church’s power to be very
great, because it hath dispensed with a precept of the Decalogue.
The Augsburg Confession (Lutheran). Part 2. art. 7, in Philip
Schaff, The Creeds of Christendom (Harper), Vol. 3, pg. 64.
“It [the Roman Catholic Church] reversed the Fourth Commandment
by doing away with the Sabbath of God’s word, and instituting
Sunday as a holiday.” N. Summerbell, History of the Christian
Church (1873), pg. 415.
Why did God command Israel to hallow the Sabbath?
“For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all
that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord
blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it” Exodus 20:11.
NOTE: As the Sabbath was given that man might keep God in
mind as Creator, it can be readily seen that a power endeavoring
to exalt itself above God could do this in no other way so effectually
as by setting aside God’s memorial, the seventh-day Sabbath.
To this work of the Papacy Daniel had reference when he said,
“And he shall ... think to change times and laws.” Daniel 7:25.
Does the Papacy acknowledge changing the Sabbath?
It does.
NOTE: The Catechismus Romanus was commanded by the Council
of Trent and published by the Vatican Press by order of Pope
14
Pius V, in 1566. This catechism for priests says: “It pleased the
church of God, that the religious celebration of the Sabbath day
should be transferred to ‘the Lord’s day’.” Catechism of the Council
of Trent (Donovan’s translation, 1867), part 3, chap. 4, pg.
345. The same, in a slightly different wording, is in the McHugh
and Callan translation (1937 ed), pg. 402.
“Question: How prove you that the Church hath power
to command feasts and holy days?
Answer: By the very act of changing the Sabbath into Sunday,
which Protestants allow of; and therefore they fondly contradict
themselves, by keeping Sunday strictly, and breaking most other
feasts commanded by the same Church.” HENRY TUBERVILLE,
An Abridgment of the Christian Doctrine (1833 approbation),
pg. 58. (Same statement in Manual of Christian Doctrine, ed. by
Daniel Ferris [1916 ed.], pg. 67.)
Question: Have you any other way of proving that the
Church has power to institute festivals of precept?
Answer: Had she not such power, she could not have done that in
which all modern religionists agree with her; she could not have
substituted the observance of Sunday the first day of the week, for
the observance of Saturday the seventh day, a change for which
there is no Scriptural authority. STEPHEN KEENAN A Doctrinal
Catechism (3d ed.): pg. 174.
The Catholic Church by virtue of her divine mission changed the
day from Saturday to Sunday. The Catholic Mirror official organ of
Cardinal Gibbons, Sept. 23, 1893.
“1. Is Saturday the 7th day according to the Bible &
the 10 Commandments?’’
“I answer yes.’’
“2. Is Sunday the first day of the week & did the
Church change the 7th day, Saturday, for Sunday, the
first day?’’
“I answer yes.’’
“3. Did Christ change the day?’’
“I answer no!’’
Faithfully yours,
J. Cardinal Gibbons
Gibbons’ autographed letter.
Question: Which is the Sabbath day?
Answer: Saturday is the Sabbath day.
Question: Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday?
Answer: We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic
Church transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday.
PETER GEIERMANN, The Convert’s Catechism of Catholic Doctrine
(1946 ed.). pg. 50. Geiermann received the “apostolic blessing”
of Pope Pius X on his labors, January 25, 1910.
The Protestant churches which were originally members of the
Roman Catholic Church before they left it in the 1500’s and
1600’s of this current era, also openly admit that the sanctifying
of the first day of the week (Sunday) instead of Yahweh’s
Sabbath, is a man-made institution of the churches, and not by
Yahweh or His word. Quoted here are some of these Protestants’
admissions.
The reasons why we keep the first day of the week holy instead of
the seventh is for the same reason that we observe many other
things, not because the Bible, but the Church has enjoined it.
YAHWEH DID NOT CHANGE THE SABBATH DAY. HERE IS THE PROOF THAT THE CATHOLIC CHURCH DID. WHAT EXCUSE DO YOU NOW HAVE FOR YOUR DISOBEDIENCE?

it isn't any longer approximately sinning, that's approximately your rationale. in the journey that your rationale is to delight God and you fall, you have broken classes of sin fairly of unbroken existence of sin. the version is Christ. As for the Sabbath, the regulations of God have been replaced with the sacrifice of Christ and He replaced into located with all authority in heaven and in the international. a sparkling covenant got here into being and being as that's new, it makes the previous out of date. Acts 20:7 is particular as nicely as Hebrews 8. all of us who needs to hold to the instructions of the previous covenant must additionally do all the animal sacrifices and different instructions, no longer in basic terms the Sabbath.

The Old Testament was fulfilled, and a blood sacrifice is no longer necessary.
Of course I've broken the fourth Commandment. I've probably, at one time or another, broken ALL of them.

When you post a question about a specific scripture. you do need to post that scripture. There are people so don't even own a bible, and are in need of specifics in your quesitons.
Exodus 31:14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
You who is without sin , cast the first stone..
Do you cook on the Sabbath? Do you drive your car on the Sabbeth? To you feed you pets on the Sabbath or have livestock that you feed on that day? The bible says that on the sixth day, we are to get a double portion of food so we dont' do any work on the sabbeth and keep it holy. So if you Cook, use a microwave, opperate any equipment, car etc. Are YOU in observance and being obedient to the word of God for that Day?????
When that day comes, and we all stand before the thrown of judgement, none of us will have to answer to you, but only to God for our infractions. you too shall also have to starnd before that same thown and only answer to God for your infractions.
God shall have His day with each and everyone of us for all we do that is not in obedience to Him.
Exodus 20:9-11 Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
We all have many things in all of our lives that we will be held accountable for , before God on the day of judgement.

I used to be, and because I grew up in the US, of course I broke it. Look at how many nursing homes there are and how little help there is in them. I am a muslim woman, and in our Quran it says to honor your parents, especially your mother, and that it is a blessing if they live to their old age with you. WHen in their old age, you are to practice the forgiveness they used with you and do anything they ask so long as it is not against God. My own mother has done so many things I would have stopped talking to her for, but because of my religion, she is a full part of my life and her grandchildren's lives. She actually takes them every other weekend and they will go to church service with her. Whenever I am driving down the street, especially in bad weather, I feel bad upon seeing these elderly people at bus stops and walking from place to place. Their children should be caring for them and serving them, not discarding them as trash.

Is a person christian if they continue to sin or do they just take on the guise of a christian? What is the sabbath day or day of rest? Deep calleth unto deep. Does our walk or depth of our christian walk determine our ability to honor the commandments?
According to the bible sin causes spiritual death. Life is found only in Christ. Therefore those not found in Christ are already dead. No need to murder or kill. Are you dead?
