This is probably not what you want to hear, but yes. I never thought so until I had friends like this. I have had some of the most amazing guy friends ever! And they're really good looking, nice, funny, smart...and we just never thought of each other in that way. It's the most incredible thing...if you have a relationship like this, embrace it. Getting to know about the opposite sex through friendship is the best way to do it.

hi, i fell in love too online and it is possible so we met and now we are going to get married......just ask him how he feels about you and let him know how you feel. You have to be strong and be prepared for anything. You should both work out a plan for both of you that you agree with. Hey my bf is on the other side of the world (where he lives) while i'm in england so if we can make it work from there, i'm sure you can too when the guy is only 3 hrs away. Be prepared to be quite emotional and understand that the way people might present there tone in words speaking online is different to real life so always ask him what he means by stuff when he says it if your not sure on it. Hope i helped.

I don't think so. A lot of what depends on attraction (besides physical, not that that is important) is the bonding and comradery that is attained in that friendship. It's comfort and trust. I wasn't orginally physically attracted to my husband. We were friends and loved doing the same things. But we also had enough differences in our social lives that we found each other interesting and had fun whether we were with a group or just the two of us.

Happens all the time! Sometimes if both are in a romantic funk they may go beyond the friendship thing, Most will quickly realize that they were made to be great Friends but don't possess that certain spark to be great lovers.

hmm, the eternal "When Harry Met Sally" question. I THOUGHT it was possible...then my best friend (of 7 years) told me he's always been in love with me. guess its not possible, cos even if you don't fall in love with your friend - there is always the chance they're in love with you.
