I have only got $650 dollars of my own to take - would that be enough it is for four nights five days - boyfriend has paid for hotel, transport etc - do I have enough? help!!!!!!!

yes sounds perfectly adequate, but obviously depends on how lavish meals etc you want to have, but is plenty for a reasonable time

Yes but be careful because that is the only place I have gone to that everyone there is trying to do something for you to get some money! Everytime u leave the hotel, there will be someone calling you a cab for $, washing windows for $, etc... It adds up fast.. Just be careful and u should be fine. HAVE FUN!!

It depends on what you will be doing. You're not going to get to experience the high roller side of NY obviously. Still, there are lots of things to do. You'll be able to shop a little, maybe Century 21 and some other department stores if there are sales.

Yes...I think that's enough money. Especially if your boyfriend has already paid for most of the trip. Just don't get crazy and spend your money on silly things...trust me...it's hard not to. As other people posted...a lot of things to see for free. Have fun!

It really all depends on what you want to do, if you want to just go around and enjoy the sight then you have plenty of money. If you want to go out shopping then you probaly do but i would budget your money so that you have a certain amount per day to spend and dont go over that unless you have money left over from the day before

Seems like a lot of money to me - I'm sure he'll pay for a lot of things on top of the booking - you can always offer to pay him back if he needs to lend you anything - or maybe you can take a credit card

YES!!! PS get him to take you to macys department store they have up to 40% off and considering most things there are like half the price here you'll have a blast :)

My friend has just come back from there, she took $1000 but came back with roughly $300, so if you are with your bf, it should definately be enough! Have fun xx

figure to reserve 200-300 for meals (unless he pays?!?! and assuming you don't eat mcdonald's each and every meal) so you're left with the rest for spending money - that's enough.
