any aroebic type excersise will improve your stamina... you want to sustain at least 30 minutes each time so stamina will increase...
Swimming is a good one as it has a low impact on joints...

Aerobic exercises improve stamina.
Running, walking, jumping rope, bicycling, swimming are all good examples. Treadmills, stair steppers and elipticals are good, too.

Try running a little bit further every day. Or jumping rope a few more turns, just try to do a little more every day and soon your stamina will build itself up.
