By asking this question, you assume people want to see same sex marriage, and it is something good. Well, that is a big assumption, and i do not think it is true. California has a different social environment. It is not congruent with the rest of the country. I think it is wrong to equate approval of same sex marriage as qualification of a leader for America.

No he can't lead America in the future if you are referring to him becoming president in the future because he is not a natural born US citizen and you have to be one to become President.

NO! The GOV is too wishy washy. Says one thing and does another, like most politicians. Californians would never vote for him as a president. only reason he got re elected is because there was no one else to vote for, it was like picking the lesser of 2 evils

I may be wrong, but even if he wanted to become president he wouldn't be able to. He was not born here in the United States and I don't think that anyone not born in the U.S. can become President.
