In the bible, it says that he drowned the world in a great flood. Drowning is a tortuous way to die. First you struggle for hours to stay afloat. Then finally you loose your strength and begin to dip under the surface. Eventually you inhale a burning rush of water into your lungs. Your body panics into a non-voluntary spasm until you are finally allowed to pass out. What a tortuous way to die!!! If the bible is god’s word, then he is an advocate of torture. After all, someone that could create the universe in 6 days could surely just wipe these people out of existence rather than torture them to death. Right?

Very good point to add: His own son was tortured. First by not having his father around and second by being crucified on the cross!!!

Wow, I am flabbergasted! God waited 120 years? That’s nothing to a god. Yet he resorted to a painful demise of his own creations? Where’s the sense in that?

Good question -- the same can be said about this business of torturing people FOREVER in hell just because they could not believe the gospel. (It is rather hard to believe in invisible things, or in things that one is told and for which there is no proof.) But if God loves to hate the people he supposedly loves, then that's the way it goes.

The bible is scripture based on a myth. Unfortunately people tend to follow it word for word as if everything written was the absolute truth. Without insulting highly religious people too much I would like to say that there is some good writing in the scripture. You have to take into consideration of the time period and the ruthlessness of the world during the middle ages. So instead of reading it like it is actual fact take it from the standpoint of a blueprint for a culture without direction.

Talking about the great flood of Noah's day I quess, But because the gross sin on earth by every man and woman except Noah was so awful that the punishment had to be greater. It was a awful thing and God saw this, And in Genesis he repented for doing it and said he would never again by flood destroy the world. and sealed it with a promise thus the rainbow. Then he sent his son to die for all man so that they could be forgiven of his sin's, If he chose's to be. And then said. It's up to you,Life and death are in the power of the tongue. I would that you chose life. But if you don't. Well........
The bible says wages of sin are death.. You chose which way. God said he will not always terry after man. But turn them over to the destruction of their own flesh. Keeping his promise to never pour out his wrath again without first offering repentence.
But rest assurred in this God will defeat evil and all who stands for it. Casting into outer darkness into the lake of fire for all eternity .

I beleieve the reason some human beings in penitentiary and reformatory say they got here upon God whilst incarcerated is by technique of the fact they are able to get no decrease and the only place to look is UP.!!!!!! that does no longer recommend they might desire to get a "loose bypass", yet even God forgives errors. those with out sin would forged the 1st stone.

If you would like to study further, God gave them about 120 years to believe. And if they had, they could have gotten on the boat. If enough had believed, then God wouldn't have sent the flood.

Trust the Bible always. God is just. Them people had 120years to turn from their wickedness but they did not and they had to face the judgement.
Just like today, judgement will be upon all who refuse His word

He doesn't advocate torture. You can't trust the bible. Read the Qur'an to know God.

This Psalm says it all,
Your Lord is jealous and vengeful,
Get not in His way, for he will smite you and your offspring.
Your Lord is jealous and vengeful,
Your sons He will wither and rot
Ps. 42, 12

he also warned them and told them that it is was going to happen (well noah did at least) and they didnt want to happen. If you are going to torture someone, you dont warn them so they can get out of it, you just go ahead and do it...unlike what God did.
