Many Atheist are coming to Yahoo Answers to find out what Christians believe. Why? Are they searching for God? Many read verses like this,"If we confess our sins, he(Jesus) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness". 1 John 1:9
I've never seen anything like it, Many Atheist want to know more about how Jesus Christ gave his life, so they could have everlasting life. Like this verse in the book of Revelations Ch.3:20&21 Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door; I will come into to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
What are we Christian going to do? Just keep feeding them God's word????

I'm still looking for a good argument for religion. I see no link between praying or not praying, believing or not believing. As for myself I have the same moral values as any christian might claim and am as compassionate as anyone toward my fellow man. Religion offers answers for everthing but can prove very little except to point to the bible as historical referance and even that has been compiled to suit a religion as some historical writings have been left out (History Channel Program). I give you the many different beliefs and interpretations. I would think the historical data would be the same for everyone.

As long as Christianity, as well as several of the other "ultimate truths", have as their end and gleefully sought after goal, the END OF THE WORLD, and as long as they believe that their rights are being violated if they are denied the opportunity to use the coercive power of the state to shove their god down every ones throat, you will have to put up with us being in your face. Why should we abandon a forum where we can let you know that you will not be allowed to carry out the silly "End Times" rubbish that you seem to forget would include the rest of us.

You have no words from any gods to feed us. What are you Christians going to do? Probably the same thing you've been doing for quite a while now, gradually seeing our point of view and drifting to our side. There are much more people now who are non-believers than there ever have been. Keep it up.

Atheists are all pretty secure in what we think - there is no God, Jesus was a man who died 2000 years ago, when we die we die. We've given it some serious thought and it's not complicated. It seems theists are more scared of death than we are. Would you like to hear the good news? God doesn't exist. Welcome to reality.

As a non-Christian, I assume that Christians want to spread their beliefs as most religions do. I think most would say that certain ideals are for all. Some of these ideals include compassion, acceptance, love and respect. If this subject upsets you, then I suggest that you abstain from participating and enjoy your day.

Atheists arent coming here to find out what you believe, many atheists and Pagans were once christians, they have no interest in going back to christianity, dont flatter yourself with such egocentric comments. Actually we think youre stupid and need to wake up and realize you are the God of your own reality, however Jehovah was very evil and he did a good job of brainwashing you, or rather you brainwashed yourself into Jehovas slave, bravo job well done stupid.

don't even think that you're going to re-convert me. that's not even a possibitlity. I come here because I'm interested in the psychology of it all. I guess you could say I'm more interested in the christian than the christ.

I think they are just curious. But many people declare themselves atheists before they really give up on the idea of god.
