i feel my love he is a very insecure person and hopes that if he continually tell you this, you then will believe it and not be tempted to look else where, or ever finish with him it is a form of mental cruelty.You will also find that he is the one with the problem,and had difficulty in getting or keeping a girl friend, if i was you i would think very carefully about this relationship also look for other signs or comments which he could be making simply to put you down or give you low esteem. anyway all the best i hope it turns out good just please be very careful.

If he truly loved you he wouldn't be dissing your looks. A real man doesn't go on looks. If he does than he's a little shallow. You don't need qa boyfriend who's shallow. If he really loved you he wouldn't care what you look like, he would just care that he's with you. You need to get away from this losser. Dump his *** and find someone who appreciates you and the way you look. No one deserves to be hated on like that. If you're not his type, then he's not his type either.

It means that there's something wrong with him and that you need to get a new man. How the heck would he feel if you told him he's not your type and that normally you don't settle for less but that you were only in the mood for something temporary?
People may have ideals but they don't go around telling people that when they're in love with them! He must be after something else from you. He's a jerk! Don't stick around!

So many guys (and girls for that matter) have a set of characteristics they claim would be their ideal - like the girls love tall, dark, handsome, guys might like tall, blonde, brown eyes. If your boyfriend loves you then that says a lot for your looks - you stood out from girls of his 'type' and it says even more for your personality - it's a compliment, but bless them, guys don't know how to phrase things too well!

this is not an insult!!!!!! it means that you have come out of the blue and that he finds your personality amazing as well as finding you hot! he's probably just pleasently surprised that he has found someone he likes so much who isn't his usual type. i usually go for laddish lads but i really fell for this amazing sensitive actor boy once and told him pretty much what your bf has said to you! i think its a compliment!
