I'm in the UK
'Liptons' supermarket used to sell a non-alcoholic sodacan version of 'rum n coke'

and my favourite sweet was 'chelsea pensioners'
(I have never met anyone who has ever heard of them, let alone tasted them - they were sold straight from the box - no wrapper - for about 1 p each.a rough oblong shape, about 4 cm x 2 cm x 2 cm... they were a sort of coca tasting coconut bar with a chewy texture)

I was fond of Nutty Bars (R.I.P. I wish they'd bring them back.!)

As for a drink, my sister and I made some weird and wonderful creations with our Soda Stream. Word of advice though - don't ever attempt to fizz up milk......
