I guess u r asking the difference between both, wheat flour as you kow is milled wheat. Maida (also kow as baking flour....not sure thou) is actually wheat flour, but is goes through a refinement (super refined) process, which makes it fine and white. Although in this process a lot of nutritional value of the wheat flour is lost.

flour is made by pulling out grains from the plant and then grinding it in chakki. maida is i think made from rice the same way!!!!

Ingredients: 1/4 cup Soy Flour 3/4 cup All Purpose Flour 1/2 cup Sugar Powder 1/2 cup Shortening 1/4 T spn Cardamom Powder 2 Tbspn Mixed Nuts Powder (Almonds,Pistachios,Nutmeg etc.) 20 half pieces Cashews Instructions 1. Mix Soy Flour and All purpose flour in a bowl. 2. Add Cardamom powder, mixed nuts powder to it. 3. Mix sugar and shortening in another bowl. Mix well. 4. Slowly add the flour mixture into the mix of sugar and shortning. 5. Blend the mixture into soft smooth dough. 6. Divide the mixture into equal portions. 7. smoothen each portion into a ball and flatten to abt 2 inches dia circle. 8. Repeat step 7 to complete the mixture placing them on the cookie sheet. 9. Stick or embed each sliced cashews / almonds/ pistachios (Your choice) on the surface of each cookie. 10. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes. 11. Serve with Hot or Cold Milk.
