I can't drink alcohol over Christmas(medical reasons), but really want to join in the festivities with some nice cocktails without the alcohol in them. Any suggestions?

Virgin Sunrise

Fill a shaker with ice and orange juice
Strain into a martini glass
add one tbsp grenadine

Virgin Mary
Mix:
1 glass tomato juice
dash worchestershire
dash tabasco
dash black pepper
juice 1/2 lemon
serve in a tall glass with ice and garnish with a celery stalk and a lemon wedge

I also like to combine:
-Tonic and OJ
-7-UP and grenadine
-Coke and rose's lime juice

And remember- put it in a nice glass with lots of ice and it will look feel and taste more like a cocktail. Enjoy!

A cocktail , by definition is an alcoholic drink. So there is no such thing as a non-alcoholic cocktail.

You are look for a punch or soft drink.

I like, 1 part pineapple juice, 1 part orange juice, and 1/2 of a banana blended with ice.

One of the best non-alcoholic drinks for this time of year is mulled pretend wine. (I'm sure there's a better name for it). Basically make the drink the same way as a normal mulled wine, but use red grape juice rather than red wine. We had a fireworks party where we had one big pan of real mulled wine, and one of pretend mulled wine, and the latter was the most popular!

I know this isn't really a cocktail, but it means that you can drink loads of it. Apart from that, I've found that tonic water with Angostura (sp?) bitters and a slice of lime is quite good too. Although if you order it in a bar you will be ripped off.

you are looking for, literally, a "soft drink" as opposed to hard drink. no such thing as a non-alcoholic cocktail. try an orange juice/cranberry mix, it's loaded with vitamin C

Orange Juice Extraordinaire

Ingredients: One glass (plastic or metal will not do), Simply Orange brand orange juice

Preparation:
- Open the orange juice bottle, making certain not to shake it or disturb the contents.
- Pour the serum (lighter colored juice on the top of thicker, cloudier juice) into the glass
- Enjoy with or without ice at your discretion!
- (Shake up orange juice bottle after you're done so the rest of the family can help get rid of the thicker stuff.)

CAUTION: This can only be done a maximum of four times (if you live alone) before you will have to start drinking the thick stuff. Invite over friends that like pulpy-style orange juice to imbibe the remains. They'll love it, and then you can get another bottle for yourself! :)

I agree with Bella and you could also add cream to make it even more rich and naughty.

Or you could make a Sex on the beach with peach juice to replace the Archers. Just peach, orange and pineapple juice.

Virgin Mary (Bloody Mary without the vodka)

Lemonade with orange juice or pineapple juice.

Hot spiced apple cider with some lemon is good and great this time of year. If you are throwing a party, you just put some rum in the cider for the folks who want it.

Or cranberry juice with seltzer is okay too.
