I am a Christian & I have been on this site almost 5 months, I have only asked a few questions in those 5 months, I mainly answer the questions, Serving God for over 36 yrs., I don't have many questions to ask, But I have answers for the questions ask for the other people. Many don't go alone with my answers, even if I actually give the Bible verse, & many that disagree with my bible answer is Christians??? OR so they say. How can a Christian that claims to have the Holy Ghost deny God's own word.

An assembly is a gathering of like-minded people who may or may not know one another for a purpose... such as worship, entertainment, deliberation, etc. Fellowship is more about community and friendship. A church gathering has elements of both, but is not required for either one. A person can have fellowship with just one other person. There is an assembly of Christians here on R&S and their fellowship is in their beliefs, even if they are different from one another, and this is certainly not a church. The same can be said of other groups and beliefs, which is one of the reasons we all come here. Local churches only need to do what God has commanded of us... to love Him and one another. This depends upon each individual member and it determines the fellowship within the assembly, be it good or bad. Being human, there will always be those among us who are more self centered and self serving (Pharisees)... be they leader or layman. Love is the reason and purpose of our existence. It needs to be the hallmark of our churches. Those who have not learned this must patiently be taught. If the church and it's members do not adhere to this most basic tenet of the faith, then it may be best to look for another church. We do need to be aware if our own motives; if love is guiding our actions as well, not selfishness or emotion.

Please be aware of something then. According to the index; the old testament is either 39 (Protestant Bible) or about 46 (Catholic Bible) books. I believe the scriptural old testament is about 3-4 books in length. (The index violates 2 Tim. 3:16-17) amongst other things. Which one you go by is up to you.
May you receive a pleasant surprise today, Glory to God.
Peace Be With You.

Christians have to be careful and truthful in answering questions because they are answerable to God to tell people the right way to THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. God bless all you faithful servants of the Lord.

all anyone can do is what they believe in their heart is the right thing to do without ignoring the free will and rights of others while obeying the laws rules and mores of the Country in which one resides.
