My wisdom teeth are coming through can anyone advise on pain relief? have tried rubbing whiskey&Cordysl?

Ofcourse your first option should be to go to the dentist and know the reasons for the pain. Possible cause is a tooth decay. I'd suggest you having mild things like paracetamol or if there's a great lot of pain, go with diclomol. Obviously, analgesics are not a choice here tho. Back here in India, we do apply clove-oil in the affected area and that really works. Keep rinsing your mouth with salted water and brushing after every meal and avoid cold stuffs for the time being.
But as a long term relief, tooth extraction is definitly the option to go for.. Wish you get well soon!

Ibuprofen has always worked best for tooth pain for me, but you don't want to take too much, too often. How long before you have insurance? A lot of dentists will make payment arrangements with you, if you have a means to pay. Are you working at all? Could your parents or family help you? Sorry, I know how miserable tooth pain can be.

I have three that is out at the moment. The thing is to get them through the skin. When they are close to the skin use your toothbrush to puncure the skin. Now I sugest that you take a myprodol for the pain. You can dip a cotton in jamyka ginger and put it on the tooth.

You should probably see a dentists as soon as possible, but in the mean time I would try an over the counter anesthetic like Ambesol.

ibuprofen? the best pain killer. do not try paracetamol as someone suggested or aspirin. those re mostly for fever and headaches.
