how can you be sure that they will "stick around" after they get it, and want a relationship with you?

do guy have to like the girl to sleep with them?

When are women gonna realise that the only reason men and women are together you at all is because sex exists. If that wasn't there don't you think they would rather be spending time with their friends with whom they are more suited? You accept this simple fact and make sure he is getting plenty and everything will work out fine. As long as he is getting sex he won't want to go anywhere else. It is when the sex stops that all these relationships between men and women fall apart and I guarantee you it isn't the man that stops it. I see a link here,

We women can never be sure all we can do is hope for is the best. No matter how much you love a man or how much you give of yourself he could drop you for a newer, prettier, younger model at any time, we just have to be able to turst in our instincts and give what we can anyway that's how I do it. By the way I usually end up getting left by the wayside with my heart broken after all you said it yourself all guys want sex and usually that's all they want their not really interested in a real relationship with anyone that could be something great.

make him wait (dont tell him how long he has to wait though), and if he asks for sex over and over he isnt the right guy. The longer he waits the better but if you wait like 2 full years that'd be bad..

spend one year of just getting to know eachother and then after a year at some point surprise him one evening.

I personally would wait for sex (i dont really care about it lol) and if he doesnt wait and respect your decision to say no he doesnt really care at all.

You'll know when he will stick around, make sure he cares about you alot, ask him to do something major for you to make sure.
If hes lost interest since the beginning hes probably just sticking around for one thing.

no guys dont have to like a girl to sleep with them - i've slept with girls i thought were painfully awful but it was a shag none the less and being able to walk away from her after was the best thing.

many men will want to sleep with you for no other reason - you'll know when you meet the right person though.

discuss it with them first - or simply dont have sex with them for a long period of time - anyone willing to stay with you will stay with you weather they can have sex with you or not (up to a certain amount of time!)

Never ever sleep with a guy who asks you to, or brings it up in conversation, if he thinks your worth it he will wait.

Even though the suspense may be hard for him (excuse the pun) after a time, you will know if you love him and he will know you're worth it cause you haven't put out so quickly.

by waiting till you give it to him, basically if a guy is only after one thing and not really you, then make him wait if you wait long enough and he only wants sex then he will give up, if he sticks around then its coz he has respect for you and likes you! they are the only ones who are worth it! unless you cant wait but then be prepaired that you are not going to feel used if he doesnt come back for more!
