Twelve Americans are murdered every day by illegal aliens, according
to statistics released by Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa. If those numbers are
correct, it translates to 4,380 Americans murdered annually by illegal
aliens. That's 21,900 since Sept. 11, 2001.
While King reports 12 Americans are murdered daily by illegal aliens,
he says 13 are killed by drunk illegal alien drivers for another annual
death toll of 4,745. That's 23,725 since Sept. 11, 2001.

Forget Iraq, the quagmire is here and we can't pull out. CLOSE THE BORDERS NOW.

Jabbergirl, are you really saying that cause others kill we should have to suffer more death from illegals. Thats totally illogical.

So so far you all agree, since we have murderes already we need to let more murderes in. Christ this country is doomed by the stupid. Nice knowing you America, and to Dr. Phil, I gave 20.5 years of my youth fighting for this country. Legals okay, illegals should be shot.

To the ones that argue we have our own murderers and drunk drivers: Yes, that is true. But, again you need common sense to understand this, if the illegals were deported and not allowed to cross our borders the numbers would decrease dramatically, not near enough, but nevertheless the numbers would decrease. Not only do we have to support these folks with welfare and indigent care at our medical facilities, we support those that are fortunate enought to be apprehended for their crimes by putting them in prison. And for you folks that keep screaming that all of us anti-illegal alien people are just racist or we don't like dark people, get a life. Illegal is illegal whether you are white, brown, pink or purple. A criminal is a criminal no matter what kind of face he/she has or what color it is and criminals need to be punished period. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out. I work with many foreigners and they all have the proper papers and documentation, it is not that hard to get. If you want a better life than where you are, and you think that the great country of the USA is the place to be, then get the proper documentation and paperwork taken care of. Why would you want to come to our country as a criminal and have to keep looking over your shoulder all the time. Makes no sense unless that is what you were to start with and what you want to remain. In that case you have no right to ask for anything from our country, even when you are wronged by being paid less, denied medical care, etc... Our criminals in jail have the basic care as they should. That is what you should have once you are in jail/prison. Then be deported back to your home country. No matter what color you are or where you come from.

The numbers are alarming, but revealing also. There's been a long-standing problem with illegal immigration, the '86 amnesty really got the ball rolling, from the 3 million that got amnestied in those years there are now 12 million, you can't dig Reagan up and charge him with aiding and abetting, but it's pretty clear there's been a chronic policy deficit on this one.

Mexico has its' own road to walk in the world, it's not our moral responsibility to prop them up, especially not at the expense of our own country. And yes, most of the illegal aliens come from one country, Mexico, hence the interest in seeing the border
improved.

What was funny was that when the bill was signed and became official, the first thing that you read in the paper was that Mexico was going to try to take the US before the UN, then someone finally found a copy of the Treaty of Guadalupe, and read it to em in black and white where it says we can have the border reinforced wherever we want to. There's still a problem, and part of it is in the US, and part of it is in Mexico, mainly it has to do with corruption, in my view, and then there's the crackheads that want 'globalization' above all else, and don't give a damn what happens to our country in the process of chasing all that money, as long as THEY get a slice, it's all good, in their minds, but that's been about the governing ethic IN Mexico for the last several decades, which is why there's so many poor people there. The best answer for em would be to stand up in unison as a people, including the ones that are in our country proudly proclaiming their love for/citizenship in Mexico, and unify, and go take care of business and build their country up into something that'll support all their citizens. They've got the growing land, they've got the minerals, they definitely have the money, so all that's left now is the collective initiative to go and make it right.

Now, as far as crime goes, even if every mexican citizen went back to mexico tomorrow, there'd still be crime in america, that much is a given. But, there'd be a lot less confusion as to who's doing what, where they came from, etc., and likely there'd be less burden on the prison and court system as a result.
At this point, I think every little bit of help the public can give law enforcement, including a vote that'll help mexicans to go home,
is good stuff. Or, we can watch our cities start heading downhill
because of crime and overcrowding. Global population numbers these days kind of dictate that 'change begins at home' etc...6.6 billion in the world, 110 million in Mexico, 300 million in america,
and all on the increase. Resource shortages, infrastructure breakdowns, overcrowding, health issues, all these and more
could make life in the USA and around the world passing strange over the next few decades, possibly even violent etc., so best to try and nip some of these trends in the bud, and get things back on the straight-and-narrow path for the benefit of all...we can, and should, have better borders, and it's up to Congress and this administration to deal actively and directly with the states to make it all happen. Border enforcement, employer enforcement,
city/state/ local participation/cooperation, citizen involvement, all these things AND more will bring a stop to a lot of the garbage that's been going on, and force some people to reform their unlawful practices. I don't see one negative in any of that...

GOCART121pretty much sums it up --but how about this--why aren't employers fined or punished for their role-and don't say they are I work in construction and its MY job to learn how to communicate w/ Spanish speaking guys-not the other way around! The people need to realize that they need to do things legally i.e. pay taxes and the such -there really is no right way to answer this because employers what to have cheap labor and more production--Don't get me wrong some of my best guys are Mexican-and matter of fact my wife is also-but when its time to hand out payroll and I have guys paying $141.67 in taxes on a $1000.00 check it is not right and as long as we sit back and turn our head to those facts then we pretty much deserve what we get !!!!!!!How ashamed should the illegal community be for the day of no work last spring--what ever happened to being grateful for having a job??????????????????????????

I agree, we should stop letting illegals live in the US, the police should be able to ask for green cards along with license and registration. The Mexicans have infiltrated the whole country and we have just sat back and let them. They work for nothing and ruined my husbands construction career. They don't pay taxes and send their money to Mexico.

We have a war here in the USA and the American people don't want to admitted. An invasion is a declaration of war by the International Laws. We are being invaded and some of us, the citizen are welcoming this invasion, they are being part of the Mexican government and the big interest that are part of the war. We have to fight them all.

Right. Illegals should be shot. Lets start with the earliest illegals. Starting from those, or their descendents, who came right after Chris Columbus.

Close the borders? As if it had a door with a lock and key? Don't get me wrong, I think CRIMINALS should be deported. But what about the majority of hard-working people who come here looking for a better life? Your logic makes no sense, since there are even more people murdered by U.S. citizens should we deport ourselves????
