Plenty of water before you go to bed, at least 8 hours of undisturbed sleep and fruit juice when you wake up. Drink plenty of water during the following day too.
Your body breaks down alcohol at a rate of about 1 unit an hour (1 unit = 1 x 25ml measure of spirits) so don't expect your hangover to be suddenly "cured" if you've had a heavy session the night before.
My own personal cure is a can of Irn Bru poured in a glass over lots of ice - if you're not from Scotland then you may be slightly unfamiliar with this nectar of the gods and as such you have my pity hehe. A fry-up can help ease the suffering too ;-)

It's all about being prepared!
Bad hangovers are caused by a combination of dehydration, chemical additives in the drink and the way your body processes different types of alcohol/chemicals.
Hair of the dog does work, have a shot of the purest vodka you can get your hands on in the morning and your body thinks you have started drinking again and will flush out the toxins left over from the night before ready to process more alcohol...this will stop you feeling sick. Dont drive after this!
Only drink beer which has no additives or preservatives (British brewers are notorious for putting them in to speed up the brewing process and make them last longer, alcopops are full of them hence their bright colours). This will virtually eliminate the sick feel you get in the morning, and any headache caused by the toxins.
Every few drinks have a glass of water to stop your body from dehydrating. This will lessen the chances of a headache cause by dehydration.
Find some beer brewed under the German Purity Law and you can't go wrong, then all you need in the morning is a glass of water to quench your thirst.

Its taken years to truely discover the cure to hangovers.... firstly, your hungover because your dehydrated, which means before you go to bed, at least an hour or two drink atleast 3-4 glasses of water. Its also best to take a pain killer. Now if you were too drunk to drink your water, when you wake up the best best thing to do is eat lots of fruit. This re-hydrates you and gives you the vitimans you need...

THINK JUICY THOUGHTS
...then drink 'em. The water in juice rehydrates your body, the fructose (sugar) it contains helps burn up the alcohol leaving you feeling just peachy.
QUIT FOR LIFE
Smoking doesn't just kill, it makes hangovers a lot more miserable along the way. Quit and your hangovers will be 50% less nasty. Guaranteed.
EAT YOUR BEANS
Eat your rice, grains, cereals, peas & nuts too. They're all stuffed with Vitamin B1, or Thiamine, which helps you metabolise the grog AND stabilises the nervous system. Lack of B1 is often what causes infamous DTs, or Delirium Tremors.
HAVE A VB WITH YOUR VB
A Vitamin B before beers will make a kegload of difference in the morning. Vitamin B2 is good but B1's the best. For all you Americans out there VB is a tasty Australian beer.
V8 IS GREAT
It's better than great, it's the best. Stacked with the mother of all hangover cures, tomato juice then sprinkled with every vege known to humankind, one drop of V8 is said by legend to contain an entire bowl of vegetables. If only it tasted like Coke.
THE ITALIAN RESTAURANT
Not just good for getting pissed at, good for getting well again the next day too. Through extra virgin olive oil and the liberal use of fresh ripe tomatos, Italians have learned the secret of getting real plump without getting heart disease and curing hangovers at the same. So while the wine gives you a hangover, dinner gives you the cure. Pure genius.
MONKEY BUSINESS
Ronan from Ireland says, "eat a bananna as they contain potassium which is guaranteed to revitalise your body after a heavy session."
THINK GINGER
"The best and greatest cure for that groggy nausia feeling is drinking ginger. It's been uses by boaties to cure sea sickness (hence nausia) for hundreds of years. If you buy sea sick tablet they will be 100% ginger. Go down to the Vege shop and buy some ginger root. If you have a juice extractor crush up the ginger put in some Orange Juice and scull. It burns ya through but it works like a dream!"
COLLECT THE CAPS
Bill from Bondi, Australia says, "When I'm out on the squirt I take the top from every beer I drink and put it in my pocket. When I get home i count the caps and that's how many glasses of water I gotta get through. Works even better when you're seeing double."
KUDZU
Not strictly healthy but close to nature, Kudzu is a Chinese vine used for curing hangovers as early as 200BC. In 400AD it was written into the Chinese Pharmacopeia as a kick **** cure and it's still being used today, possibly as close as your local health food store.

Following taken from:
"The Natural Physician's Healing Therapies"
Nux Vomica, which in homeopathic circles, simply means "No vomit".
The author related that after a friend's wedding party, he recalled giving Nux Vomica to quite a few members of the wedding party. Fifteen minutes after taking the remedy, people were coming to him asking, "What was that remedy?" In that very short time, they were already feeling better.
It is highly effective as a cure as it does a quick job of detoxifying the body. . . . . . . .This one works!
Is also used in treating Alcoholism, helps reduce the craving for alcohol and facilitate the recovery process. It also helps recovering addicts to detoxify more effectively.
Also an effective cure for:
Allergies, back pain, bladder infection, chemotherapy, colic, colitis, constipation, flu, insomnia, and ulcer.
Can be found in vitamin stores, or your local pharmacy.
Good question,
Darryl S.

Before you go to bed, take two 400mg of ibroprofen and drink at least a pint of water. In the morning, make sure you drink lots of water. If you're at the stage of barfing on water, take lots of little sips, and try to keep it down. Basically, make sure that you're hydrated. Don't try orange juice - that's acidic, and may well react badly with your delicate stomach!

My friend just suggested you ring your mum and get her round to cook you a breakfast with a glass of orange juice.

My proper hangover remedy is to evade one. earlier going to mattress, drink 2 or 3 large glasses of water real quick and good after one yet another. do not move to the washroom, in simple terms move good to mattress. enable your body take in all of that water into your kidneys and the absolutely ingredient that you'll awaken with, is a real urge to move pee.
