If the democrats fail to protect our citizens by passing that bill, they are opening themselves up to the same treatment that the republicans received on November 7, 2006
The American people are tired of the spineless flip-flopping on this issue. If the democrats give in to the lobbyists employed by companies that employ illegal aliens, they should be voted out of office.
If we have to pay a few cents more for our fruits and vegetables because the farmers will have to pay more to U.S. citizens to pick them - I say it's worth it and let's get it done, once and for all.
Americans are getting tired of foreign involvements and giveaways.
"Foreign" is becoming a dirty word to thinking Americans............

I don't think you'll see an amnesty soon. It's a controversial issue, the democrats aren't going to touch it either. Sorry, but they want the White House too badly.

I hope it never happens but lets see what happens. For me it's a coin toss whether amnesty will be granted.

amnesty's a non-starter, at this point...they still haven't figured out how to keep people from entering illegally, so it's a moot point 'til then...
