yes, they are pretty good, but you should go with a plasma or an lcd, they give you much better quality for their price. A dlp doesn't have really good pitcure compared to other tvs. I'am very unsatisfied with dlp tvs

DLP's are good and have improved overtime. The do have one major downfall. They are temper mental and do not like to be moved. Inside there are mirrors, not only the millions on the chip, but on the back of the unit. Those mirrors on the back, have a tendency to shift when the unit is moved, thus giving you large areas of either no picture or a distorted picture.

However when properly installed and cleaned around, they can give a remarkable picture.

Yes, they are excellent TV's. Remember, always get a TV that is sized for your viewing area though. Don't get a huge TV and put it in a small room. There's some links on this site that may help you.

my buddies came with a prefered veiwing range of 15ft. he had 11, and it gave him, and his wife headaches. they returned it.
