It seem like women always get the short end of the stick in Christianity.

In my opinion, the bible was a sign of the times.

Since women were considered "inferior" back then, and God chose to have a woman be a daughter and spread His message, best case scenario is She would have been mocked more than Jesus had been.

Worst case she would have killed off rather quickly, which would have defeated the purpose of spreading the word.

You already see that Jesus had a bad outcome with His life anyway (although He died for our sins, so a good outcome for us) but his daughter would not have been able to accomplish anything.

In the old testament they used the Male animal for sacrifice, & therefore God use the male & the first born for a perfect sacrifice. God now has Sons & Daughters if we are Born Again, But Jesus Was the only BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD. you say women always get the short end of the stik, Well first womn was the first Human that caused sin, & Eve was Equl with Adam before the sin, But she lost that equalness when she sinned. But a women is not to be trample on or put down, or put on a level so low. Woman is a helpmate to man. I treat my wife as a queen, but she also knows that I am her head just as Christ is my head. I do not abuse my wife nor downgrade her. She is precious gift that God gave to me.

The reason God chose to have a son rather than daughter is because Jesus preexisted. He is a part of God from the beginning. Jesus is God in the flesh and God is who he is.God had a son or became God in the flesh because man was under penalty of law and that penalty was death. God loved his creation while we were yet sinners and loved us so much that he had a plan to save us and that plan involved offering himself as a sacrifice to pay for our sins so that we could have an eternal relationship with him.

No need to, if you know anything about Jesus. Do you?
We are all God's sons and daughters...Jesus was God in the flesh...
Women who worship Jesus certainly don't get the short end of the stick! If I may speak for those of us who worship Him, I'd say we are extremely blessed to know Him...
Sooooooo...what's the point to your question? Just being silly.....are we????

Thats just how He chose to appear on earth....
We are all Gods sons and daughters...
Eve was Gods daughter as are all women....
Jesus was God incarnate and God chose a Son just because thats what He chose. It doesnt matter anyways, because we are all, like I said, sons and daughters of God anyways.

Because it's all there to make people behave, and people wouldn't have listened to a woman, for all we know he was a woman and it just didn't get written that way (not saying he was the son of god though, just a rather nice bloke who got people to be nicer to each other)

Yes Jesus IS God's son and I guess we will just have to wait and ask God that question if it is still important to us in heaven, which I highly doubt it will be. Besides God did choose us to be Mothers.

God didn't have a daughter because he was a Gay Peadophile, which means that his victim had to be male. He killed his son after raping him, thus starting the great Christian Priest's favourite past time - Raping young boys!!!!!

I can find no better example of Christian Tradition!!

He was but in a "metaphorical" way.

The bible is an oriental book and as such it is full of metaphors.
Men made a dogma (blind belief) out of it.

We shouldn't be enslaved by words and make a big deal out of it.

I'm woman and I don't feel that way. I am so spoilt by God, that thought never even came to my mind. Tells me you have a lot of time in your hands.
