Romans 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, thay glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.
Romans 3:10-18 As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one. There is none that seeketh after God. They have all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable: there is none that doeth good, no not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes.
Do you think God is talking about Atheist here? Read it again slowly and think before you answer.

Okay, I read it a few times but it didn't really mean much to me. I am an atheist but I don't think it necessarily refers to atheist. Just bad people who don't do the right thing. You don't have to be religious to be good.

The first quote seems to me to be about false christians only. Only someone who believes in the christian God could know God, so this passage concerns christians. However, since they don't glorify their god, they're not true christians.

The second quote isn't really clear since it's been ripped from its context. It lists out traits of a group. I'll let the section about 'good' go since we could argue that for hours, but the cursing and bloodshed obviously fails to describe the majority of atheists. It could be about atheists but could still describe false christians.

If by 'understand' you mean agree and accept, then I guess I have to answer no.

I understand that this 'God' you speak of has never actually existed, except in the eyes of the blind.

I understand that these writings are over 2000 years old and have been translated millions of times, each time telling a different story.

I also understand why christians are so fcuked up in the head, I don't blame them, it's not their fault they have a weak mind.

i remember this passage, there are many like it. its talking about any one whos not in the gang. if theres no feeling of moral superiority, whats the point of joining? these carefully crafted passages are essential to rouse the righteous. fear requires belief. begone sinners!

i think he was talking about people who profess to be holy or christian, but their actions don't match their words.

edit
do you realize that most of paul's letters were written to various groups of christians that couldn't agree on how this or that should be done. here he is talking about the false doctrines of other christians. (although i don't believe they called themselves christians at the time)
