Look ur boyfriends behavior isn't the problem. Ur trying to justify, seeing someone else on the side and now u want to dumb the boyfriend.

Ur in the courtship mode with this new guy so the grass always looks greenier. Ur both still trying to impress eachother. Just breakup with the bf that probably is ocd & move on. Just don't be suprised if bf #2 does the samething to u later down the road.

DON'T DO ANYTHING WITH THE NEW FELLA TIL WHILST YOU ARE WITH YOUR BOYFRIEND IS NASTY AND CRUEL.

IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY WITH YOUR BOYFRIEND AND FEEL YOU ARE NO LONGER IN LOVE WITH HIM THEN IT IS BEST TO END IT. NO POINT STAYING IN A RELATIONSHIP IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE UNHAPPY. JUST SIT HIM DOWN AND TELL HIM THAT THE WAY HE ACTS HAS MADE YOU UNHAPPY IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP AND YOU WISH TO LEAVE. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A PLACE TO STAY WHEN YOU LEAVE.

DON'T MOVE IN STRAIGHT AWAY WITH THE NEW GUY. IT IS JUST NOT A NICE THING TO DO. SHOW YOUR BOYFRIEND THAT YOU HAVE MORE RESPECT FOR HIM THAN THAT AND STAY AWAY FROM THE NEW GUY FOR A WHILE. GIVE HIM TIME TO GET OVER THE BREAK UP OR YOU COULD MESS UP HIS HEAD A LITTLE.

I WOULD WAIT AT LEAST 3-4 MONTHS BEFORE YOU MEET UP WITH THE NEW GUY. YOU CAN TALK ON THE PHONE BUT WAIT A BIT. GIVE YOURSELF A BIT OF SPACE TOO.

YOU MIGHT ENJOY BEING FREE AND SINGLE FOR A WHILE.

GOOD LUCK HOPE THINGS WORK OUT FOR YOU.

What it sounds like to me was you've met someone else so found a fault with your BF to have a reason to get rid you really cant have love and respect for your now BF because surely it would be easier to explain about his OCD then find some one else. In my opinion i know itharsh but you found someone new now your looking for an excuse to get rid of the old. Just put him out of his misery.

think the first thing you should do is speak to him about it. Maybe he was brought up like that , I know lots of people like that , wont sit down till the place is spotless, but if he likes doing the cleaning let him carry on you, you dont find many men like that around, tv , football, pub, Now you have found someone else you say. Sometimes better the devil you know than the devil you dont

Which boy are you loyal to? Know this sounds errible but you have to choose one or neither, if you don't they'll orobabally both get hurt and leave you. What would you do if you were married and commited then 'saw a nice person' divorce? Lol Belive me if everyone did this then EVERONE would probabally get divorced. WHICH IS NOT MEANT TO HAPPEN. Be friends with the 'new' one and love your old one. I would do that.

My step dad kind of has OCD, and my mom is way different. She's the really messy type, and it causes fights sometimes. But they get along a lot too...

I'd say........ go with the guy you like, cause maybe you won't fight with him as much. I'm not saying that you guys fight, but if he's doing something that's bothering you, maybe you and the other guy have more in common.

I think it's a bit too late for you to start thinking about what will hurt him. You should have done so before starting to see the other guy.
It is inevitable that you will hurt him, just don't tell him it's because of what he's doing, because that would double his pain and do it as nicely and as soon as you can.

It depends on a lot of things. how long have you guys been together? how strong your relationship is ? (other than your dislike for his OCD) if its worth going for the other person when you are already living with someone.
it would be best if you sat down and discussed his issues with him, maybe you'll be able to resolve something.
something good always comes out of talking things out with your partner.

you should talk to your boyfriend. ocd is not easy to cope with at times. i actually suffer ocd myself but in a differnt way. im not going to go into it but its really hard for others i know but if you love him you will help him out. if you feel you cant do this then your going to have to end the relationship. it isnt fair on him if you keep on going on like this behind his back he deserves to know!!!
