Many people look at Christianity from a certain angle and a certain view. How do you see it?

I see it as freedom. Freedom from the unhappiness my sin used to cause me. Freedom from the loneliness I felt not realizing God was always with me. Freedom from trying to conform to world views that I'd never quite measure up for.

I see it as peace. A peace that nothing else in this world could provide for me. Peace that I know where I'm going when I die. Peace that I'm loved and cherished even if every one around me hates me.

Above all I see it as love. Christ loved me enough to die for me, despite how rotten I've been. The church mirrored that love helping me when I was at my lowest point. I've found endless joy in passing that same love onto others.

Well, first let me differentiate to you a Christian from a Catholic. Christians believe that Jesus died for man to save us from our sins although Catholics also believe that Jesus saved us from sin, they assume that the only way to be with God is through the Church.

Actually Christianity teaches love, charity and submission. In terms of values taught, Christianity is great. Christianity as a pure religious belief is nonetheless, enlightening.

The Church is the one that makes Christianity sucks, Not only are they too dogmatic, they are also set too high standards in showing the love for God. Sometimes people cant differentiate the two < christianity and catholic belief>.

In the end, No matter what your religion is, no matter how your God is named. It all boils down to how you live your life, how moral your actions and thought. In the coming judgment, God will not judge you according to your Religion but by the content of your heart.

Jesus came to show us all the way we can all live in peace, and the more people who accept Him and His ways, the more peaceful our world will be and every one of us would benefit.
There are those claiming to be Christians who do things that go against what Jesus taught. Blaming Christianity or Jesus for what those evil people do makes no sense. If I robbed a bank claiming to be you, should you be blamed or should I be blamed because I am the one who did it?
Jesus is the Son of the living God. He proved this several times by doing things no ordinary human can do. He made wine from plain water, fed people with food he multiplied be telling the food to multiply, made blind people see, healed sick people no doctor at the time could heal, raised Lazarus from the dead, and then raised Himself from the dead. No rational person can reject Him, but sadly not all are rational...

I see christianity a a lame excuse to try to control and belittle the most vulnerable people in our society: Children.

I think that all kids have the right to be religion free until they hit hte age of 17 or 18, when their brains are almost fully developed and able to make their own decisions.

Then, and only then, should churches have the right to preach their rubbish to them, at least they are old enough to realise that church is just trying to brainwash them!

All religions ruin innocent minds!!

Christianity emphasized its importance in the world, it seems to be legal for most of the sins like pornography, alcohol, adultery, rape. They declared Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him) the son of God, some even called him God. They confessed their sins to human (priest) . Conscience will tell us God should have the absolute privilege to forgive us rather than a human, ridiculous, right. I am wondering how true Christianity is.

i see Christianity as a way of life for i cant do any thing as a man cuz as a man i don't wont to do anything and god gives me the ability to do the thing in my life to glorify him in every thing that i do cuz its him that teaches me what i need to know to do my job what ever i need to do he grants me the understanding that i need to have and gives it to me in a way that i understand it . ive been a Christan for almost all of my life but i have only been a worshiper only for about a year and there is a big difference Ive put ever thing in gods hands . i might be broke but I'm not poor , i might be cold but I'm not freezing , i might be hungry but I'm not starving . for god has given me nothing more than what i need and Intel i appreciate all he has done for me and my family he will when the time is right give me and my family WHAT we want . i glorified the father in every thing that i do so the glory can go to him and not to me . look at the bible and see what god did to all those men and women's that worship him and gave him the credit for what they received and look at what they accomplish only if we as a world or society could do that just imagine what this place would be like . but you have those that do know what it would be like and they don't want it cuz they won't have the kind of control as they have now .

I see Christianity as a religion where people believe that God formed the world, picked a chosen people, worked 10 simple moral precepts into an advanced contract covering 613 articles that touched all aspects of daily life, inspired these people to acts of unspeakable horror (just read Joshua), cajoled these people into following this contract using local thugs (think Nebuchadnezzar) and then made them feel guilty about it (just like an abusive spouse - Why did you make me hit you?), and ultimately used his son/archcollaborator to replace them with the very gentiles who had conquered and mistreated them, probably because they were more numerous and powerful.

Honestly.

Take care,

The same as all religions, just another way of controlling the masses, oh, and a reason for the churches to steal money under the guise of "donations".
