My partner and I never have stop saying I Love You everyday, we would say to each other I love you up 25 - 30 times a day. We are still very much together today, we've been together over 2 years now and we are still in love. It was him that declared his love to me when we were together 2 weeks. I wanted to declared my love to him but he got there first. I still get butterflies when he sayd Have I told you lately that I love you. He makes me feel so wanted. I have no idea why people find it's so hard to say the 3 words, i guess their up bring didn't have much love.

Most people fear saying due to rejection, but others just don't truly mean it. But I believe that if you feel it then you should say it, my boyfriend told me he loved me (and has meant it) from day one, and still does now, a year and a half down the line, and hearing it from someone you love is the best feeling in the world.

They are scared of getting hurt..... If you say it from the heart you are sort of giving the person you say it to power over you.
As saying it honestly is the most precious gift you can give there is nothing else after that as precious.
Love is a battlefield...... So why give away your power.

Some people say 'i love you' when they don't actually mean it. Also, alot of people think they do love someone and say it a bit hasty and then things have a habit of going wrong.

Yep fear of rejection or sounding a wuss to a modern girl, who will just laugh at him. Plus lack of confidence and maybe misreading of the signals there respective partner has given them. Maybe they wanted friendship but someone fell in love.

hey i want to ask a question in response to that
do you think a feel like love exactly prevails
i think it is more of infactuation and when it turns out to be insecurity to that person....
people admit it as love
else they will never say u... they love u

Ha ha ha I would know this VERY well! (:-}
Well, MOST people probabally:
Don't mean it from the heart?
Are afraid of hurting the other's feelings or scaring them?
They don't want to accept their own feelings?
They are very shy? (I told you, I would know...)
They are scared that the other won't feel the same? (big, obvious hint-type of coughs!)
Or...
Somthing else (how... precise)

sadly the words "i love you" are used far too often, when you openly repeat it it wont come from the heart, i love my husband but choose to say it when it really matters, not just when i say bye to him or hang up the phone with him. people also believe their in love when their really in lust, hence they will declare love but not really mean it. hope this helps, its just my view!
