I'd love to treat my friend to afternoon tea for Xmas - she lives in Pudsey and I don't know the area at all - where is the best place to try? I was thinking of a nice hotel with blazing log fires etc. Thanks!

I live in Pudsey and would recommend the Bankhouse Inn, Bankhouse Lane,Pudsey. It is a bar and restaurant overlooking the Tong / Cockersdale valley. Quite near to Fulneck. A beautiful place. Ring first though.

I live in Leeds but I dont know of any places that serve specifically afternoon tea. There are loads of places you could go to for tea and cakes though...maybe try Harvey Nicholls?
