God is spirit. He cannot be seen. If you were to examine all the creatures, the CREATOR has made a pattern emerges: angels and demons are intellectual creatures without a body; plants and animals do not have an intellect but a body and mortal soul. IT IS ONLY LIVING, HUMAN, BEINGS, that have a MIND, BODY, and SOUL. Only human beings have all three. Now, living, human, being is the existence of man. Those words describe the essence of man's mind, body, and soul. The Body is living, the Mind makes us human and distinguishing us from animals, and our Soul makes us the being that we become (good or evil).

Now, even Muslims will agree Allah is omnipotent (all powerful), omniscient (all knowing), and omnipresent (ever present). These words describe the existence of God. So, what is the essence of God? I will hold off answering this question till the end.

Now, if you think about the existence of a person they have a triple existence: physical (body), mental (mind), and spiritual

(eternal soul). In fact, whenever we create something it has all three of these parts. When we cook we have a recipe (in our mind), we gather all the raw ingredients, and we cook (don't burn it, ha ha) what it is we are making. Cooking has the physical, mental, and spiritual parts. Same with engineering or technology it has three parts: the blueprints (to convey an idea), the raw materials (physical), and the workmanship (spiritual). If something goes wrong investigators will look for a design flaw, material flaw, or faulty workmanship. THIS DEMONSTRATES CREATION HAS THREE PARTS LIKE THE CREATOR.

Now, in the Bible it says Jesus is the visible likeness of the invisible God. (Colossians 1:15) The ESSENCE OF GOD IS: Father (mental), Son (physical), Holy Ghost (spiritual). ONE TRUE GOD IN THREE JUST LIKE A PERSON. THREE PARTS ONE PERSON. When you are sick you send for a doctor; when you are mentally troubled, a psychiatrist; when spiritually seeking you seek out a holy person.

I know what you're saying and to try to expain it to a non-believer is like trying to explain blue to a blind man. Without faith is it impossible to please God because first you must believe that he is. The same goes for Jesus you must believe that he is who he says that he is. And yes He did say that he was the son of God and He said it to a man that was blind until he healed him, John 9:35-41 Let everyone read it for them selves. And by receiving worship from the blind man He was also showing that He was God because only God is worhty of worship. Genesis 1:26 Who is our ? God said, Let us make man in our image.

If you answer your own question, will others respond?

I love God, I know He is real, and I know that He is a tri-part Being. Since His Word says we are created in His Image, why should we doubt. We even have scientific evidence to back it up. (For you nonscientific types, the proof is in our DNA.)

If you are trying to educate nonbelievers, you are wasting your internet-time. Don't you know that unless they are called of the Holy Spirit, they will not receive what you are saying? Or are you preaching to the hoped-for called? That's cool. I can hang with that. You must be mature in faith to put yourself out there like that.

As they say where I go to church, "Preach it, brother!"

People like you can continue to ask such questions and still end up lost and more confused.

In the end, the only right answer is the one that suits your current level of understanding. But that doesn't mean this answer is the truth.

In the end, we human race really love to speculate, don't we?

To say that we are an intelligent race is misleading when all we are busy doing is asking speculative questions without contributing anything with real substance.

good thinking. But trinity is a false doctrine created by men, not revealed by prophets of God. God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy spirit are one in purpose not in substance. Prophet Joseph Smith saw God the Father and the Son in 1820, and they have tangible glorious and resurrected bodies of flesh and bones. The Holy Ghost is a spirit and that is why it can dwell in one's heart.

We are not created in the image of the holy trinity, Because there is NO trinity in the Godhead, But One in the Godhead & operating in 3 different offices. We are made in the image of GOD ONLY. you so callled math is completely wrong, Can you show me that there is 3 seperate persons in the God head, no you can't, but I can show you there is One in the Godhead working in 3 seperated offices. And can you answer my question why the Apostles only baptized people in the Name of the lord Jesus Chris, I can answer that also, They fulfilled Matt. 28:19 over in Acts 2:38

There is no trinity. That was a creation of man, not God. There is one God, and His name is Jesus. He was revealed in the flesh of the Christ.

Trinity: A False Doctrine

[4:171] O people of the scripture, do not transgress the limits of your religion, and do not say about GOD except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was a messenger of GOD, and His word that He had sent to Mary, and a revelation from Him. Therefore, you shall believe in GOD and His messengers. You shall not say, "Trinity." You shall refrain from this for your own good. GOD is only one god. Be He glorified; He is much too glorious to have a son. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. GOD suffices as Lord and Master.

[4:172] The Messiah would never disdain from being a servant of GOD, nor would the closest angels. Those who disdain from worshipping Him, and are too arrogant to submit, He will summon them all before Him.

[4:173] As for those who believe and lead a righteous life, He will fully recompense them, and shower them with His grace. As for those who disdain and turn arrogant, He will commit them to painful retribution. They will find no lord beside GOD, nor a savior.

Today's Christianity Not Jesus' Religion*

[5:72] Pagans indeed are those who say that GOD is the Messiah, son of Mary. The Messiah himself said, "O Children of Israel, you shall worship GOD; my Lord and your Lord." Anyone who sets up any idol beside GOD, GOD has forbidden Paradise for him, and his destiny is Hell. The wicked have no helpers.

[5:73] Pagans indeed are those who say that GOD is a third of a trinity. There is no god except the one god. Unless they refrain from saying this, those who disbelieve among them will incur a painful retribution.

[5:74] Would they not repent to GOD, and ask His forgiveness? GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

[5:75] The Messiah, son of Mary, is no more than a messenger like the messengers before him, and his mother was a saint. Both of them used to eat the food. Note how we explain the revelations for them, and note how they still deviate!

[5:76] Say, "Would you worship beside GOD powerless idols who can neither harm you, nor benefit you? GOD is Hearer, Omniscient."

*5:72-76 In John 20:17, we see that Jesus taught that he was neither God, nor the son of God. Many theologians have concluded, after careful research, that today's Christianity is not the same Christianity taught by Jesus. Two outstanding books on this subject are "The Myth of God Incarnate" (The Westminster Press, Philadelphia, 1977) and The "Mythmaker" (Harper & Row, New York, 1986). On the front jacket of "The Mythmaker" we read the following statement:
" ...Hyam Maccoby presents new arguments to support the view that Paul, not Jesus, was the founder of Christianity....it was Paul alone who created a new religion through his vision of Jesus as a divine Saviour who died to save humanity."

God

[24:35] GOD is the light of the heavens and the earth. The allegory of His light is that of a concave mirror behind a lamp that is placed inside a glass container. The glass container is like a bright, pearl-like star. The fuel thereof is supplied from a blessed oil-producing tree, that is neither eastern, nor western. Its oil is almost self-radiating; needs no fire to ignite it. Light upon light. GOD guides to His light whoever wills (to be guided). GOD thus cites the parables for the people. GOD is fully aware of all things.

[24:36] (God's guidance is found) in houses exalted by GOD, for His name is commemorated therein. Glorifying Him therein, day and night -
