When it comes to dating...the first time, yes. But since it's something you mean, over time it becomes easier and more casual to say but at the same time, more powerful. Well, from my experience. :D

No,if you feel something for someone , it should come automatic. It is better to say now that the person is with you than if the person is unreachable to you. so as the Ronan Keating song says "If tommorrow never comes, will she(he) know how much i love her(him). Do what you can do today than waiting for tommorrow
