You dont say if you have any other medical conditions. Such as diabeties.
Please see your doctor, have a full check up. Blood pressure, and blood tests, especially for diabeties.
My dad is a diabetic, and he does this occationly, and usually means his blood sugar has gone high or low in the night.

Night sweating can be a symptom of a number of diseases, though I'm not familiar with it as a kidney disease symptom. My advice is to get to your doctor ASAP and describe exactly what's going on. He'll know what to do from there. At the very least, he'll want to do some lab work (blood tests) to see if your blood chemistry is normal. I hope all is well.

Infections – Classically, tuberculosis is the infection most commonly associated with night sweats. However, bacterial infections, such as endocarditis (inflammation of the heart valves), osteomyelitis (inflammation within the bones), and abscesses all may result in night sweats. Night sweats are also a symptom of AIDS virus (HIV) infection.

You need to have a Hgb A1C checked at the doctors office. Tuberculosis also causes night sweats, hormonal changes can cause night sweats and drug withdrawal can cause night sweats. You should definitely see a doctor

I agree with another one that wrote. This smell could be a symptom of diabetes. The "fruity odor" is a description of ketoacidosis. Get to a doctor and talk about this!

I think this means you need to ask someone qualified about this. If you can't get to see your GP, maybe you could call NHS Direct for advice.
