I don't remember seeing it in the past,and I didnt visit any online store before.Why does the napster icon always appear in window media player?is it normal?How to get rid of it?

My guess of why your media files have a napster icon is because you might have installed napster at some point! (You might have deleted it but it has still left some traces)
The previous answer of reinstalling media player or internet explorer might work but it is an overkill!!
The easiest solution would be to go to
control panel ->folder options->file types-> advanced (having selected the file type that you want eg. .avi).
There you will find a 'change icon' option...

it may be normal if you have napster installed on your computer. if not, well im stumped. to get rid of it, reinstalling Internet Explorer would help, or reinstalling Media Player.

Click on the small arrow right to it,, a downloaded window will open,,, choose the icon you want
