Yes, espically if the tooth is infected or really needs to be removed. The infection in teeth can travel through the blood stream to the baby - the sooner you remove it the better for your unborn baby.

Yes, I had all of my upper teeth removed while I was pregnant. The dentist used a local, and prescribed me Vicodin for the pain after. My baby will be 3 next month, and is healthy and happy and just fine. After the extractions, I drank a lot of Ensure and other supplements like it, to keep nutrition for the baby while my mouth was healing.

You can remove the tooth but the doc can`t use any medication/ anaesthetic

Yes. It is absolutley safe to have X-rays and local anaesthetic too.

its ok as long as your dentist doesnt give you a prescription for vicodin
