Absolutely. Maybe they're afraid they'd like our decadent society... All these half-naked women, freedom of opportunity, freedom to criticise or even to get rid of the government if we wish, freedom to practise another, or no, religion in peace.
They should DEFINATELY stick their heads above the parapet and tell us: 1. What they believe
2. What they expect from us
3. What they want.
It's hard to form opinions about them if we don't really know what we're up against. Or perhaps we DO really know, but don't want to believe it, and we give them the benefit of the doubt. And continue to offer their brainwashed 'freedom fighters' sanctuary in our free country.

If the Pope hadnt have said that Turkey shouldn't have been part of the EU due to cultural and religous differences then he wouldn't have even bothered. Further more there is no pope- like figure in the muslim community. Also Muslim leaders within the UK are talking with the goverment to prevent fundamentalism in Muslim youth.

America has a huge Muslim population. And the vast majority of them are lovely people. Sadly, the 7-10% who are radicals make their lives very difficult. There is a change in the Muslim community, more and more are stepping forward to publicly condemn the actions of the radical faction. If you would like to meet some Muslim people, all you need do is do a little searching on the web.

I don't think the Muslim religion has a figurehead equivalent to the Pope but I might be wrong. Certainly, there should be more cultural exchange and hopefully the Pope's visit will start the ball rolling

They did but it was not widely reported in the mainstream media.
It was the "Global Peace and Unity" event organised by the Islam Channel (sky 813). It was open for all to attend, although the majority were muslims.
One of the leaders was Yusuf Estes (link to his website below), and included leaders from KSA, UK, Syria, Pakistan, Kuwait, US, Canada, Egypt, India...
It was at ExCel in london last weekend and over 30,000 muslims attended. It was also televised live for anyone in the UK (Sky 813)

If you knew most muslim leaders have visited the west, and some even live here....so what is your point? Their views are not biased as they already are aware of where they are.

In which world are you living? Muslim and Christian leaders are always exchanging visits. It is the pope that keeps away. Wake up man, we are really living in a global village. It is just, the politicians' tokens fall a little late, that's all.

It would be nice to hear the Muslim leaders preach tolerance and love and not hate.
