im trying to open my mydocuments.. but as i open it a window tells me "the file is corrupt"..only that. then my mydocuments window suddenly closes..if i try it again, it goes the same.. what's going on??? even my YM doesnt work..

anyway, when i started my pc there were a lot of wndows askin me to terminate blah blah blah...

pls help me... i hav a lot of projects to do...

I think its not virus. your windows might be corrupt.

You have virus. I can give a few links that offer free virus and spyware removers...!You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at

First try to do a system restore, if that doesn't work then update your virus scanner and log in to safe mode run the virus scanner.

try opening it thew safe mode(F8-at start up) if this doesent work, try opening it by using RUN: type the name and Type of file in the blank. example type this in RUN:

"C:\Documents and Settings\NameOfDirectory\My Documents\nameofFile.TypeofFile"

it should open the file u need

Well, you can open task manager and see if there are any suspicious processes and close them all then restart your computer to see if the bug is fixed.

you have a bug. You need to run an adware remover to get rid of it. Spybot.com and adawareSE.com are free and easy to use.
