From what I understand...
Zen = PhD Program
Buddhism, Hinduism & Taoism = Masters Program
Christianity & Islam = High School
Why?
Well, you can spend a lifetime learning Christianity and Islam and get yourself to become a religious extremist. But spend 3 lifetimes to learn Buddhism, Hinduism and Taoism and you still won't get it. For Zen, well it's only for the pros.
Offended? Christians and Muslims, go and study Zen and see for yourself.

Just one question: how can you think of classifying different religions by giving each of them a different level of importance? How can you tell a religion is a PhD instead of a Bachelor degree? No religion is better than another. Faith is a mystery and doesn't need evidence for those who have it, so you just can't think of considering a religion better than another one, because no religion can be proved 100%. And, by the way, Atheists and Agnostics aren't less important than those who have religious beliefs. Values matter, not the source you learn them from.

If the world is a university then I think religions are the different subjects you can choose from in university, not different degrees like you said.
Instead of biology, literature and mathematics there could be Buddhism, Islam, atheism etc.
They are different paths you can choose from. They may be very different, but all have something to offer and all will greatly influence your outlook on life and what you do with your life. Following a particular path doesn't necessarily make you smarter or wiser than those who follow a different path, it only makes you different.

Oh man Oh man. This reminds me of an Omar Khayyam's verse translated by Richard La Gaulliene. It can be applied to people like you:
And do you think, that unto such as you
A maggot minded, starved fanatic crew
God gave the secret, and denied it me?
Well well, what matters it? Believe that too!

Yes, you are wrong. All Religions are inventions of Mankind ONLY.
They were created to improve us , the mankind.
If you go in detail, you could notice that all these religions teach us the same thing.Problem lies in following them.Because interpretations were twisted to benefit some vested interests appeared later.
So if you keep these facts in mind , you will not venture out & raise your doubts in the form of your questions,I am sure.
Could you pl. correct me if i am wrong.........
Aha ahaha...................

Your wrong ... there is one way to heaven and only one way. Anyone who tells you any different is lying to you and themself. All road don't lead to heaven. Actually all roads lead to Hell except for the one that is straight and narrow. The best part is it is a free gift from God available to all who chose to take it.
Jhn 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
