Ok i am seeing my cousins in brazil in 5 days and i am sick of them calling me chubby. I have decided to starve and only drink water and eat fruit and veggies. Can some one estimate how much weight i would lose in 5 days? and what are some exercises that tone up ur legs and stomach fast!, im not expecting great model legs in an instant but just somthing that will work!

Your body will kick into starvation and to protect itself it will slow down your metabolism. That's why overweight people and dieters generally get bigger and bigger. So if you want to lose weight get loads of exercise, eat loads of fruits and vegetables and fibre to fill your stomach with little calorie density. But don't go hungry or you'll be sorry. Trust me on this, then stick with it. Also, your muscles need protein so eat low fat fish and chicken.

In terms of exercise. Focus on cardio. But if you want to compound the results do lunges, squats and stomach crunches. Don't expect a miracle in 5 days. Its too late to expect much more than a few pounds of weight loss.

Not enough time for a diet to work. For healthy slimming you need a lot of excercise and a balanced diet. Starvation diet alone will not do much and will definetly not produce a proportional body- you might lose some fat from the breast area while leaving the fat on the stomach intact- which I presume is not exactly the effect you wish to achieve.
I would suggest reserving at least a 6 month period for excercise and diet. Swimming, roller skating and aerobics for excercise, and a lean meat/ vegetables diet (reduce fats and carbohydrates, but do not eliminate them completely)

And if anyone calls you "chubby", tell them they can kiss their own backside, or go jump in a lake, or words to that effect...

This is not a good way to lose weight.

If you do manage to starve yourself and lose a few pounds your body will react by conserving energy so that when you eat normally you will regain that weight and more.

You would do far better to concentrate on the exercise side of your plan as that will make you feel better about yourself. Make sure your hair looks great and you have some nice clothes to wear that show off your best attributes so that you feel confident.

By all means start changing your diet to include more fresh fruit and veggies and drink lots of water, but please don't starve yourself as it is counterproductive - it will have the opposite effect to the one you want in the long run.

Good luck and have a great trip!

5 days is too soon. A healthy weight loss is 1 -2 pounds a week anything more than that is not good. You can do cardio to loose some body fat. As for the fruits and veggie only diet - don't do anything you don't see yourself doing in terms of long term coz if not you'll end up gaining it all back.

I do not think you should starve yourself nor try to lose weight just because you dont want to be judge. First and foremost, you may be chubby but there is noone to blame but youself since lack of discipline, proper diet and exercise leads to weight gain.

If you think losing weight will solve your problem then think again coz it wont..Appearance may be essential since its the first attribute that people sees, but remember that physical beauty only last temporarily and what will matter the rest of your life is the beauty inside you

If you do not want people to judge you then dont make them. The simplest solution to your problem is ACCEPTANCE. No matter what you do or even if you lose a ton of weight, the bottomline line is the person inside the body will remain constant.

If you think your weight is giving you a hard time then find a solution. Remember that solution doesnt come in 5 days. If you will always find for the easiest and fastest way to every problem in life then you will just live the same day over and over, in short, you will never learn

Face your cousins with confidence and no inhibitions, after all, they will always accept you for who you are and not for what you are. I cant blame your cousins for being prejudice. The world doesnt understand itself. The true meaning of beauty is distorted. Peoples' minds has been distorted and poisoned, and true beauty for them is Pamela A's boobs, Heidi Klum's body and Angelina J's face...they have forgotten whats essential and that is the heart

And so if they will call you chubby then tell them " hell yeah! its good that im beautiful "

In 5 days you won't be able to lose anythign but water weight.
One pound of fat is 3,500 calories. And assuming you weight 160, it means your body burns around 1600 calories a day.
That means in 5 days, even if you ate no calories you couldn't lose more than 2 pounds of fat! If you are eating fruits and veggies only then you won't lose more than 1 pound of fat. My point is, do it slow, not in 5 days.
Exercises also will not work that quick...they take 4-6 weeks for results.
