She will understand you - only you will have to make an effort to make her understand you. take her into your confidence. It is ok if she listens to her mother now as she has spent her life with her uptill now....but later you can remould her towards you.
Just have patience!!!

Well, this one of the problems in marriage; Involvement of parents. It has a drastic effect on both of the couples.
You have to talk to your finacee seriously before you are getting married. You have to convince her that this is your life not her mother's. But becareful while talking to her. You have to select words be calm and polite.

Talk to your fiancee. Tell her that soes she really believe you and is she ready to take independent decisions without the help of her mom. Tell her that you are uncomfortable with her running to her mom for everything you talk about and envision a life where you two can do what YOU want and not what your parents or her parents want. Discussions like these should make her understand your point ultimately.

I was also very attached to my mother before I got married, even while I was engaged and dating my husband. After you get married it will be much better because she will trust you and talk to you about things that she now disscusses with her mother. I am still close with my mother but not as much a before, hopefully it works out the same for you. Good luck!!

First understand the girl,tell her in clear terms this is not going to run for long if she understand and mould herself fine.I feel the girl behaves in that way because all this time of her life she was with her mother and under her care and feel she is the right person to take decision for her.MANY FAMILY IS BROKEN BECAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM.GOOD LUCK.
