In relationships i've always been the destructive force that causes all the damage, i get these gut feelings that tell me that it's not gonna last, or that she might be unfaithful, so i cut it off, those gut instincts are usually wrong. I'm in a situation now where i want to stop seeing her cause i think she might break my heart somewhere down the road. should i enjoy the time we have now or save myself the torment in the future

I suggest that you enjoy your time now. Its totally impossible to know who will work and who won't, its so much worse if you found that you missed out on the girl that was perfect for you cause your gut didn't feel right. We should listen to our gut, but not so much that we end up alone in the end because we're afraid. Dating is a gamble, everything in life is a gamble. Its better to face it head on and get it over with. Enjoy the here and now, fortune favors the brave.

I went to a class today called "the traumatized child" as part of ongoing foster care education. One of the main points was that when a child is failed in some way, through abuse or neglect, by their early caregivers THAT IS WHAT THEY EXPECT FROM ALL RELATIONSHIPS. If you couldn't really trust your parents you certainly can't trust some girl you barely know, right? You may not even be aware that this was your early programming.

Also those used to living in chaos will re-create it. It may not be fun, but it's familiar.

Quit repeating the pattern of destruction and get some couseling. It may change your entire life.

Did you ever hear the old saying, "tis better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all",,,,,,why do you do this to yourself and your partner? Relax and enjoy life....enjoy this woman and the relationship you have together....If your gut instincts were good then I may answer differently but you are setting yourself up for a pretty unhappy life....perhaps it might help for you to talk to someone to find out just why you do this to yourself...Life is short....live it while you can....good luck

Babe life isn't perfect you have to take risks especially when it comes to love. Hearts are meant to be broken and when they do we must taken as a lesson learn.Take a risk cause if you don't you'll find yourself alone and thinking of the what ifs.

Why don't you try using a bit of common sense. Making good decisions might help too because making them on the basis of what might happen is really dumb.

If it is not broke , do not fix it ............stop living and following your illusions , which are almost always ( as you said wrong ) . Be positive, be happy , and learn from your past mistakes , you are a child of this universe like everybody else . Sheers
