Was talkin to this dude and he said wireing up the subs at 1 ohm with my kicker zx1500.1 @ 1 ohm will require heavy current and that i should get a heavyier wire then 4 gauge which i was told is plenty

its two 4 ohm dvc 12" l7's 1500 watts 750 rms each and my 1 kicker ZX1500.1 which isnt rated at 1 ohm by manufactuer but its a cheaters amp so which im told and heard that many people run it at 1 ohm and ill also be useing 2 fuse's with a 1.2 farad capacitor.

4gauge for your speakers!? LOL!! Ok you said what 750WRMS? ok listen up, Power = Current^2 times resistance. The square root of 750 is 27.3A. 14 gauge would be plenty for the speakers.

If you talking about the power and ground wires. P=I V

1500W / 14.4V = 104A 4gauge is just fine.

I wouldn't recommend that you run it at such a low ohm, the amp will live a short life.

Wire the subs like so:

This will give you a 4 ohm load and your amp will run cooler. That cap is a little small, a 1.5 Farad would be better.

i would run 2, 4ga or 1, 1/0ga. thats for both power and ground.
