I beleive you're referring to a cherub which has FOUR heads, a man , a lion , an eagle, and a bull and is referred to as one of the "four living beasts" before the throne of god.

Lee's got it, the description you gave is of a cherubim. But that's a type of angel, and not a specific angel. Since the faces are space evenly around the head, usually only three can be shown at a time, the human face in the illustrations you've seen would have been on the back side of the head. Strange how today they prefer to illustrate cherubs as chubby infants, isn't it? Oh how times change. Sorry I can't give you a specific name, but I wouldn't worry about it. Then again, I'm an atheist, so why would I?

Edit: I did find a few names, but I don't have the time to look them all up at the moment to see which is the one you're looking for, if any.

"Ruling princes of the Cherubim include Gabriel, Kerubiel, Ophaniel, Raphael, Uriel, and Zophiel. Lucifer was also a ruling prince before his fall from grace."
