do you want to tell everyone else when you hurt or dont feel good, or do you never say anything, no matter how bad you feel?

Mostly I dont say anything, unless I'm really dyin'! I did have my neighbor take me to the hospital once when I had a kidney stone, but that was probably the worst pain I have ever had. Usualy if I can still walk, I will deal with it myself. I will only trouble my closest freinds with any emotional pain I may be dealing with, and then it's usualy understated. I dont know if this is a healthy attitude or not, it's just the way I am. To comment on Alpha Mutt's answer, I too, will usualy walk away from people who try to get me riled up, or just ignore them. If I allow myself to get too angry, I may reach a point I dont want to go to. It's not cowardice, Its common scence. I dont want to really injure somebody that badly, I would rather just shrug off their abuse, and leave them alone. I have the ability to get over it. To a point. after that point, they deserve what they get.

It doesn't mean that you are a complainer when you tell someone you are not well (unless you overdue it ). Now to the question..I only say something to someone when I know I need help. If you keep it to yourself how will anyone know? I mean that if you can tell someone and they have an answer look what you would be missing. Make sure you don't tell just anyone though and be careful how often you do. Then it might be taken as complaining.

A person's basic instinct is to tell someone, to relieve oneself...
But an educated analysis would show that it is better to control oneself - silent sam by ur def...
So, it is a balance between the two,, u highlight excruciating cases / circumstances,, and ignore / work around the smaller cases...

I'm a "silent sam" about 95% of the time. Unless you really get on my bad side. Then I'll make you sorry you were ever born.

i seriosly want the next person who answers this question to answer mine as well. ; D

i've had some bitter experiences when i have let others know when i'm hurt.a few have taken advantage of me. so i've opted to be a "silent sam".
but surely it has downfalls too.

When I'm hurt or whatever I'm feeling I write or I sometimes share it to people who are close to me.
