Please make sure you talk to your doctor and don't listen to people here. My doc told me not to take anything while on Chemo as it may interfere with it. You want the full effect as bad as it is at the moment. It will be over at some point after that you can work on getting your body back to normal.
Good luck to you , hang in there !

I would listen to the advice of others about checking with your Dr. I'm currently going through chemo & was advised by 2 oncology nurses not to take anything other than a daily vitamin & protein shake during or it could counteract the affect. My treatments are not as often as yours so I'm sorry you are going through this & know that it's not easy. Take it easy as much as you can & take care of yourself & body as much as possible right now. Let others that want to help do things such as go to the grocery store or cook for you. Every little bit helps. I plan to take supplements, immune builders once I am done with the chemo to get things back on track as quickly as possible as I hate the "flu" like feeling that I am so often experiencing. God Bless & best wishes!!
Also, please beware of those very willing to push certain products on the sick & weak. I have run into many who have that "miracle pill" & there is no such thing. I plan to take Mannatech supplements although they are very expensive but know they have helped many people, but hasn't always worked for everyone either. They are known for & being sued for their overly aggressive sales people that take advantage of the sick which turns me off but know it's a good product so will give it a try but won't take them for a lifetime either.

Check out "How to Prevent and Treat Cancer with Natural Medicine" by Michael Murray, and "Beating Cancer With Nutrition" by Patrick Quillen. Both books are a motherlode of the kind of info you are looking for. See what these experts have to say before you listen to those who ignorantly condemn the use of supplements and nutrition.
They don't know and don't want to know, and I believe they do harm to those they advise. Good luck!

do not take any supplements without your doctor knowing. There are things they can suggest that wont interfer with the chemo. Weakness is also a sign of anemia which often goes hand-in-hand with chemo.

My doctor didn't allow me to eat a lot of stuff when i was undergoing chemo. He only allowed multi-vitamin tablets. I suggest eating more multi-vitamins and vitamin C to boost the immune system. And make sure you add lots of vegetables and fibre into your diet. Eat even if you do not feel like it. Rest whenever you feel tired and drink lots and lots of liquid. Get well soon!
