I don't believe in fighting animals for sport or fun. However, the Akita is known for it's fighting capabilities. It origionates from Japan and is a larger breed. It has an extra thick coat that chokes out his attacker when bitten (even Pit Bulls).

I agree with most of the above answers. What`s the matter with u people? U don`t know how 2 express your anger & 4 the reason that u can`t beat humans u make your dog doing it 4 u? U obviously have a big problem, sorry 2 say but such an agressiveness should be investigated and treated with the suitable psychological help...
I`m serious, such dogs have been attacking mine & once he almost died! And their owners were complete idiotic beasts. If u don`t care about your dog, at least let the others that are owned by kids and have a special value for them live!

It is against the law to breed fighting dogs, to run dog fights in the United States. It is a shameful waste of life.
