can nobody tell me why my dog eats pooh?

they are not getting enough nutrition. there is a pill called deter and it should stop it or change the food with more nutirtion or vitamins or something like that....

some breeds will try anything! specially labradors! You can spray pooh with a deterent, you can use an aversive noise when you see dogs go near a tempting dropping! hearing a loud gas cannister klaxons are good for deterence !
Disposable baby nappies are seen by some dogs as highly nutritious but the habit should be to discourage them. Our dog used to roll in fox pooh, which is just as disgusting to wash off with a garden hose !
