No, though they were same age, Saul was in Turkey. He was the first Apostle to have not actually met Jesus. You could say he was the first to be brainwashed into the religion, from the point of view of the Jews. Paul was very well educated and believed in continuing to take in accurate knowledge. He became disappointed in many Christians as time passed, because they had returned to the holidays and observances of men.

Scripture is silent on the issue; but Paul, being a devout jew, no doubt would have been in Jerusalem during the mandatory Sabbaths and feast days and would have had many occasions to hear Jesus preach, if not meet Him personally.
