It was 2 years ago at a family party for my aunt. Well, my uncle was VERY drunk and I was standing at the food table and he just came over, SMACKED and GRABBED my behind! He didn't let go of it either! He said "You're my FAVORITE neice." and he stood there rubbing my arms from behind me for the LONGEST time before he walked away... I was horrified. I never told anyone about it and everytime I see that man drunk, I totally avoid him at all costs. What would you have done in a situation like this? My mom is very close to my aunt and I'm afraid if I say something, their relationship will be on the rocks. I absolutely love my aunt, I'm just terrified of my uncle, I have nothing to say to him at all, I'm really scared of him still, 2 years later because he always just LOOKS at me and I don't want him .... I don't know. Maybe I'm just being paranoid. What do you think?

I know how you feel. Something very similar happened to me and i told my mom..i was very afraid to tell her because i thought she wouldnt belive me. Stuff like that has happened to me for a few yrs now and i didnt tell my mom becuase i thought it would just go away but it didnt and it got more serious. She told me why i didnt tell her before and i shouldve told her when it was the first time it happened..and that she wasnt goin to leave me alone with the pervert. So just tell your mom..so she knows whats goin on and she can protect you. Someone needs to know. Even if it is your uncle..sometimes its someone in the family who does this kind of stuff and family or not..its not right! Youll feel better if you tell your mom and your mom will know what the best thing to do is. Just keep avoidin him.

I think you should better call your uncle to the side one day when he is sober and remind him of the dis plesure and lack of comfort that you now have in him because of that incident, and inform him that if this ever happens again that uncle or no uncle you will not tolorate that kind of behavior from him as a point of Respect, and your reactions will be going to his wife and telling her, Most people think that because they have had a few too many they use that for and excuse to do what ever they feel thay have been hiding and is probaly wondering when he looks at you why you haven't said anything yet, and you need to address this asap because he may be tossing in his mind that you want him, and i think you know what I mean, that's why I stoped drinking about 30 year ago, not because iwas like that, but I just had a very short fuse and after military training that I have had I almost killed a man once or twice but blame it on the booze but the booze couldn't do it if it was on the shelf and not in me

No, you are NOT being paranoid. You need to talk to your mom immediately. This is not appropriate behavior at any time. Believe me, I know. Been there, done that. Next step, if he grabs you again, swing around violently and loudly--protesting as to where he is putting his hands! Then tell him if he touches you again, you will call the police yourself!

that isnt appropriate behavior period... You need to tell your mom & your aunt.. I know I'd want to know if my husband were doing something like that. I think your mom & your aunt would be very concerned for your well being & you shouldnt have to go through it alone

Print this question and show it to your mum. Perhaps your mum and aunt have a hint that he is a creep but need the proof. Your mum would more concerned for your safety than anything else.

I think I would confront him(face your demons) and tell him just how uncomfortable this made you. Then tell him if he EVER touches you again like that you'll call the cops and /or break his arm(and mean it).

If he's a rude, selfish, hypocritical, inconsiderate, condescending, overopinionated, stuck-up bad boy, dump him or reject him and tell other girls to avoid him!
