"I can live with doubt and uncertainty and not knowing. I think it is much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers that might be wrong." --Richard Feynman

Doubting Christianity is GREAT! People who doubt should run with it, but Christianity has many safeguards against people getting away. First of all they tell you that it's the Devil putting the doubts in your mind. If you continue doubting they'll try to get you back by scaring you with Hell. Once you become a full fledged Atheist they'll say that the wisdom of the world is foolishness to God, and that only a fool says there is no God. It's hard for someone to break away unless they're pretty smart.

Not at all... The Fundamental nature of what the debate is on is because many Christians look at homosexuality as a choice, then its not authentic to the person, and thereby it is a sin because it is perverting the true purposes of relationships that God set down on this Earth. After all, the Bible has a strong call in its text towards authenticity "For whom God has put together, let no person separate". If Homosexuality is proven beyond a doubt not to be a choice, then it simply gets put in the category of not being a sin. Doing this, would logically make people wonder what were the Biblical writers referring to when they wrote homosexuality in the Bible. What was the purpose of that? It is plausible that the spirit could have inspired people to write that in the Bible so that the Bible could attract as much of a strong base of believers it could (given the ideas that were around at that time regarding homosexuals). If you think about it, if homosexuality did not exist in the Bible, the early Christians would have a hard time distinguishing themselves from the ancient greeks back then, and they would have had a hard time distinguishing themselves as something categorically different and purer ya know? Because I would surmise back then people didn't understand homosexuality as many seem to not understand today ya know? So there is a plausible reason that it could have been included, but the Bible could still be counted as true ya know?

The difference between eternity in Hell or Heaven is the only thing wrong with doubting Christ. The choice is totally up to you. While I pray you chose to follow Jesus the decision is your alone. It really doesn't effect anyone else.

Jhn 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Jhn 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Jhn 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Jhn 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Jhn 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
Jhn 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

I tend to think that if you don't know what is coming after death you're playing russian roulette with your eternity. But you can have assurrance about eternal life. 1 John 5:13 says These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may KNOW that you have eternal life.
In todays post-modern culture the reasoning seems to be that it is better to be in an endless search for truth than to find some real answers that you can say that you believe are true. I say that's dangerous from an eternal view. If you're still searching for an answer after you die and cross over to the other side it could be to late to start discovering truth.

"I’ll wait until I am old, then I’ll get right with God."

You may not get the chance. God may just lose patience with you and end your life. Perhaps you don’t think He would do such a thing. Then read Genesis 38:7 to see how God killed a man who was wicked. Jesus told of a man who boasted that he had so many goods that he would have to build bigger barns. God called the man a fool and took his life that night.

Those who say they will repent in their own time lack the fear of God. Their understanding of His nature is erroneous. If they caught a glimpse of His holiness, His righteousness, and His consuming justice, they wouldn’t trifle with His mercy. Such arrogance needs to be confronted with the thunders of Mount Sinai. He is not wise who thinks he can outwit his Creator, enjoy a lifetime of sin, and repent at the last minute. Deathbed repentance is very rare. God killed a husband and wife because they told a lie (Acts 5:1–10). He lost patience with them. Most people think that God’s patience is eternal. It evidently is not.

The Bible says that it is through the fear of the Lord that men depart from sin (Proverbs 16:6). If they don’t fear God, they will be complacent about their eternal salvation (Matthew 10:28).

Humans are unholy, so to doubt the best thing you can have, faith, is normal. You can live without hearing the answers, but you missing out. Without Faith you don't have hope, without hope you don't have a future. To have faith you must believe. Oops, you have a problem. Good Luck and I hope you turn to Him before it's to late. O for all of you reading this and gives me a minus, enjoy your little ignorant world, one day you will believe when its to late.

There's nothing wrong with doubting anything. Just don't judge others for what they do believe. Christians have as much right to their beliefs as everyone else.

If you live like that, on judgement day God will tell you to leave and say that He never knew you. It is in the Bible, and by the way, you do know or you would not have just said what you did.
