How to learn other languages easier?

I'm Indonesian and I can speak Bahasa. And I learn english but, I want to learn more languages like chinese or spanish. Do you have suggestion or tips how to learn languages easier?

Try to read comics in the new language. *That* helped me a lot. I started learning English (I'm German) with Beetle Bailey comics...

Go to movie screenings in the new language. Subtitles help. If you get DVDs and repeat things you hear (you better do this alone at home ;-) ), it also speeds up the process.

Listen to radio stations in the new language (with internet radio, you'll find anything on the planet).

If possible, practise with a native speaker.

It would be easier to learn by doing. Learning a language in the country where it's spoken is the best way.

But there are other resolutions too: attending an intensive course or learning with a native teacher are good ideas too. And remember, the more practice you do the more achievement you'll get.

I know this is easier said than done, but try to immerse yourself with people who speak the language you desire to learn. I worked with a lot of Spanish speaking people and learned more Spanish then in 6 years of Spanish classes.

concentrate 1st with the language u wanna learn.To master it, u should be practicing it everyday. how? use it 2 the people speaking or learning that language.. also, read a lot of books/magazines and watch tv shows using it... after u've mastered one, move to another.. but still try to exercise yourself with the previous language u've studied .

I listen to Korea music all the time and I start to recognize words. Then I find out what those words mean and they are easier to remember.
