One of your other anwerers mentions the fact that man has only been around for the blink of an eye in relation to the time that dinosaurs existed. Doesn't that make us pathetically arrogant to go thinking that we are the chosen ones? He could well be right and we could be here and gone in less than 200,000 years. As for why the bible doesn't mention dinosaurs; the men who wrote it had no idea that they had existed.

Im a Christian, i believe in the BIble and have faith in it. Thats my personal opinion and everyone should respect that.... If you are looking at it from a evolutionest standpoint, then the dinosaurs were before the humans, in fact a LONG time before Homo Sapians appeared. No one ones for sure, and we could argue back and forth, but the truth is no one will know the right answer until someone builds a time machine. EDIT: to DNAunion, everyone has a right to their own opinion. But your opinion that i am not "rational" because im a Christian and i believe in the bible is complete BS. Why live by what we can see? There is more to this world than what we can physically see. Yes the Bible does seem a little absurd, but most Chrisitians live by faith. Im sure most believers of other religions feel the same way too. So take YOUR ignorant agnostic/atheist head out of your ***

There were giants back then. Goliath was 10 ft, another 16 ft. tall. There were entire races of giants at the time getting up to 30 ft. tall. Today they exist in small numbers but the fact that they existed is a fact and not some ludicrous idea.
You should also keep in mind that there were not so many humans then but more animals (prey). The herbivoirs always outnumber the carniviors. Like shark attacks, the attacks were more horrific than numerous creating an impression that people couldn't exist amongst dinosaurs. Truth is stranger than fiction.
The word "dinosaurs" didn't exist in those times. Instead words like behemouth discribing large creatures were used in the Bible.

Job 40: 15-24
Sounds like this could be a discription of a Behemoth (Brachiosaurus)
Job 41, Psalms 104:25-26, Isaiah 27:1
And this could well be a Leviathan (Kronosaurus)
I have not figured out exactly how they were able to live together. But I do know that when the flood happened and Noah had all those animals on board the God made the animals to eat hay. The lions and such did not attack to eat meat. They lived harmoniously during that time. So it is quiet possible that the same was true during the time the dinosaurs existed.

Dinosaurs were around for about 200 million years and extinct long before the first homo sapiens arrived on the scene (an eyeblink ago in geological time - less than 100,000 years.)
As my cousin is fond of saying, Dinosaurs lasted 200 million years - but homo sapiens isn't even a proven species.
In the grand scheme of things, we may not last long enough to be significant.
Why aren't dinosaurs mentioned in the holey book? Maybe because dinosaurs didn't write any books?

There are 3 heaven and earth ages, same heaven and earth but different ages.
II Pet.3:5-7 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
……………………………………….
THE WORLD THAT THEN WAS
Gen.1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
To that earth age the world that then was, belongs all fossils and remains. Scientific estimates or guesses; universe or heavens 20 billion years old, earth 4.6 billion years old, moon 200 to 300 million years younger than earth, dinosaur extinction 65 million years ago, Ice Age 2.5 million years ago.
………………………………………………………………
BEING OVERFLOWED WITH WATER PERISHED
Gen.1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
AND THE EARTH WAS
The word “was” (hayah) in Hebrew, was not distinguished by the Revisers, that is the verb “to be” from “to become”. The same Hebrew word “hayah” is translated “became” in Gen.2:7.
AND THE EARTH BECAME
WITHOUT FORM H8414 tohu (to'-hoo) From an unused root meaning to lie waste; a desolation (of surface), that is, desert; figuratively a worthless thing; adverbially in vain: - confusion, empty place, without form, nothing, (thing of) nought, vain, vanity, waste, wilderness.
VOID H922 bohu (bo'-hoo) From an unused root (meaning to be empty); a vacuity, that is, (superficially) an undistinguishable ruin: - emptiness, void.
AND THE EARTH BECAME DESOLATE AND EMPTY
Earth was not created that way but became desolate and empty due to Satan’s rebellion. A global overflowing of water, but not Noah’s deluge. Darkness was upon the (face) of the deep, in other words the whole earth.
Into this we can read; dinosaur extinction, destruction of Atlantis, breakup of Gondwana Land, and the Ice Age.
………………………………………………………………………...
BUT THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH WHICH ARE NOW
Gen.1:2 And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Gen.1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
About 63 A.D. Peter writes, the heavens and the earth which are now. The heaven and earth age we are in now, today.
BY THE SAME WORD ARE KEPT IN STORE
RESERVED UNTO FIRE
AGAINST THE DAY OF JUDGMENT
AND PERDITION OF UNGODLY MEN
PERDITION G684 apoleia (ap-o'-li-a) From a presumed derivative of G622; ruin or loss (physical, spiritual or eternal): - damnable (-nation), destruction, die, perdition, X perish, pernicious ways, waste.
Some will perish eternally and not see the third heaven and earth age.

According to earth science... The era that dinosaurs live were to far when human came to the scene... This means that the dinosaurs live (i.e. mosozoic era "as far as i remember") earlier than humans...
